discussion Do you guys prefer more cartoony/anime style games or more realistic looking games?

In principle, I don’t really care. As long as there’s good gameplay. I quite like 2D in a European style. But I just can’t stand Japanese stuff and all that anime, hentai, etc. on an organic level. I never download games with that kind of graphics. Because of their prevalence, I just ignore them + section.

Both can be good, but my my favorites will always be hand drawn 2d, 3d can get a little uncanny at times

I'm fine with both, they can both be done well. Though I do find a memorable cartoonish art style can be a real game changer for me. Since a lot of 3d games kinda blend together in my memory after awhile.

Animated 2d is my preference. I'm a huge fan of some that are not animated like starmaker story though. If I were to go for 3d it would be just making stuff on vam.

Anime style more than cartoony style. but realistic sometimes fits as long as they are very attractive. And I'm not just talking about the girls because sometimes it gets uncanny if the MC or other guys are extremely realistic or otherwise meanwhile the girls are not so much realistic or too realistic. As long as the characters blend in to the back ground but still stand out when I see them.

Just depends on mood and if the story is good, then art kinda takes a back seat

Sometimes realistic stuff can ick me out, so I do generally prefer things stylized. Its generally a lot cuter that way ^^
