Do you guys prefer more cartoony/anime style games or more realistic looking games?

Depends: mainly, for 2D games, anime/light novel style is my go but for 3D ones I stick more with realistic.

Porn games I lean towards realistic.
I find games where they lean heavily towards anime style have a hard time balancing the light and fun style with romantic / lust aspects where it's a satisfying fap.
Non porn games really depends upon the direction of the game. Silly fun games I find are often enhanced with the anime style where the simplistic reactions make it clear and are over the top in some cases.

Prefer more realistic looking, but cartoony/anime style games can be good. For both styles it really depends on the quality of the graphics, story, game play, etc.

I much prefer the more realistic ones -- and I hate the balloon tits and asses too big to fit through a door type. I don't like anime in general and for 2D it all depends on the skill of the artist.. Generally I avoid HS and HS2 types

It depends on what it is. if it's a parody of something that exists, I prefer as faithful to the original artstyle as possible. So if someone was making a parody of, say, Avatar The Legend of Korra, I'd prefer a cartoon style as close to the original artstyle as possible. same with Danny Phantom, or The Loud House or whatever. it's very rare that a parody of a cartoon using an artists personal rendition actually captivates me. but there are also exceptions to this happens. like with MITY and Teen Titans and Four Elements Trainer.

But if someone can make a 3D artstyle for it that genuinely looks good, I can get into it too. bnut it has to be really good. like, the bar is high for that.

However, for original games, I mostly prefer 3D renders. Unless the game is using a 2D artist I know who has a very good style and quality that I like, I mostly prefer the 3D. and even amongst 3D, I absolutely despise the Anime inspired appearances. You know the ones I am talking about. it sucks and I've never played a game with it cuz I can never get past the faces and strange hair colors in 3D. Thye feel very flat and unfinished.

I mostly prefer an artists original work for original content. and if someone is gonna do a parody, i refer it as accurate to the original content as possible.

Cartoon all day every day. Nothing beats big eyes and dot noses. Realism can't do "cute".

I prefer anime looking artstyle most of the time. Even for like regular media, I tend to watch anime/cartoony stuff more than live action shows.

Depends on what style they animate/draw the characters. I don't like the HS/Koikatsu models, but in some realistic games, they have very good models, so it depends on the quality.

I have been playing/following AVNs over 6 years now. Haven't seen a single cartoon style AVN that turns me on. Most of the ones I still come across and people rave about, looks like drawings I would've done in 2nd grade.

I don't usually like playing eroge because most of them have novels worth of dialogue for one single frame (with minor changes). While the dialogues can be good at times, I hate looking at the same picture for 15 minutes straight. But I prefer doujinshi over eroge because the level of degeneracy in the dialogues/dirty talk/story I look for can be found there.

Overall, I prefer western realistic looking games.

I generally prefer anime style hentai games over realistic western games. More possibilities, usually better story telling and as an anime fan I love the art itself too. I'm not really into realistic or 3D ones (with a few exceptions when it comes to some 3D anime hentai games). I mostly got into hentai games specifically, not the whole porn spectrum.

The problem with many realistic-style games is that they quickly or immediately feel dated if the creator uses off-the-shelf animation software. That's why I usually prefer games that are more cartoonish or stylized. If they use Blender to create their own high-quality models, it's a completely different story. These games are usually better quality in other respects and well-thought-out, which is why they often become my favorites.

In all my searches I actively exclude the tag 3DCG, they're too uncanny for me.

Contrarily though I also usually stay away from games that are too stylized as Japanese Anime as well. The sweet spot is Western art assets, or at least some style thrown in there.
