Yeah, I have fomo and don't love the idea of playing a game multiple times to get access to all the content. I'll either save scum or, more often, get the gallery unlocker. I don't even enjoy all of the content sometimes (usually a granny scene or something) but I have a hard time not wanting what's available.

i dont cheat / unlockall if the game is fully completed. I do for games that are still being made and if i like it enough to want to see everything from that update.

When it comes to games I only cheat in two situations.

First, to overcome any annoying grinding. If it's something that I would complete if given enough time and not a matter of skill then "F that". I'm just going to auto-complete it. I don't have all the time in the world these days and that's no fun.

Second, if I'm on a additional playthrough or something and just want additional fun. Where some games I might put down after completing it, fooling around making myself overpowered might keep me playing longer. Of course this is only for single player games.

the processes and mini-games of many games are actually quite boring. Cheating and skipping them directly hardly affect the gaming experience

1 playthrough as intended and then go back to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I just skip over scenes I’ve already seen

It depends, actually. If the grind is worth it, I'll indulge. But most of the time I'll just edit the save and activate god mode (incase of RPGM games)

Depends on the game. A lot of times the scenes are better when experienced normally, but sometimes if I don't feel the grind is worth it, sure.

If I can give you some advice, play the games as you like, they're yours (even if Sony disagree).
For example, I absolutely LOVE Elden Ring, but I'm not playing the game six times to see all endings. Or maybe I will, but I'll cheese and cheat in every possible way.

I can agree with that mentality, though I generally try not to cheat or exploit at least in a first run. Maybe if the grind is easy but stupid long. Your exact case though is absolutely what I did, while DS1-3 make you do multiple playthroughs to get all spells or weapons ER only needed it for multiple endings, and heck that! If it were a bit shorter maybe, but I am not mindlessly repeating what I just did to get those last 2 achievements. I was also tired after the 100% grind that world is, I do miss the simpler smaller hand crafted worlds of yesterday.

I don't think it counts as cheating, but I'll look stuff up for completion's sake. When I'm more or less finished with the game minus a few things here and there, I'm not wasting my time trying to discover them myself.

Well if its a singleplayer game, If the game is too grindy I just max out just enough to speedthrough the game and still enjoy it.

I try to reach some sort of ending in games first, and if I'm still having fun with it I'll grind out what I missed without cheating.
If not, or if the gameplay sucks but the scenes are good from the start, I'll cheat to see what's there.

It depends, if we're talking VNs and the rewards come with reading through the game, I'll usually do the whole thing manually and skip what I've already seen. But if there's 'gameplay' and it's boring and grindy, which unfortunately a lot of popular adult games are, yeah I'm cheating the hell out of it.

Life is too short for mindless grind.

I'll always start playing through a game without cheats, but if it's far too grindy I'll cheat. I prefer 'earning' the progress, but some games are just too much.
