Don't Ask Me Compress monsters with Tonn videos

You can compress tons of videos with 2 clicks in Linux but IDK if you can do that in Windows. If you wish, I can show you how bc the program for that is cross-platform and then you can try it in Windows.
Using that method I add 10 seasons of a TV show for conversions (lossless compression with H265). The program (Handbrake) supports webm but IDK how to make the output in that format bc I don't use it and I've never needed to know how.

Well, how long could it take to compress say 80 files each of which is long about 1 second or less? I'm compressing an 8GB episode (usually 42 minutes) to a 5 times smaller size (while keeping the same quality) in 10 minutes, so I can't imagine that compressing a bunch of small WEBMs rarely exceeding 2 seconds duration can be that long...

If mp4/mpg/avi/mkv or something else from 30 minutes to 5 and more hour.
If webm with duration 0:01-0:50 it's ~5 minutes on one file.
If it's webm more than 1 minutes duration it's ~10 minutes on 1 file.

5 minutes on 1 file? Really? Here's conversion of 24 webm animations from "Proud Father" where the largest one is 15 seconds and the smallest one is 2 seconds. The input quality is the same, only the video bitrate is changed and the output format - MKV. The total size of all input files is 53 MB, the total size of all files after conversion is 21.5 MB. All 24 files converted to mkv files in less than 60 seconds. IDK what kind of a basket you use for a computer but these durations of yours are NOT normal.

Space button to pass text doesnt work. Went to restart cuz i thought it was a bug, game didn't save, skipped the whole day 1, played the intro again and now i'm starting at day 2? On top of that can barely understand a thing. Also why jennifer has 2 alternate models?

If I recall correctly from when I tried playing years ago, you are supposed to end up up influencing/controlling everyone in the family at some point, the brother I think first and then the father later. Whether the dev ever got around to that I couldn't tell you.

great, but it depends on the game, video duration, quantity and quality and whether to use vp9 or vp8 as a codec

Interesting didn't know there was a remake. Do you know how much content is missing compared to the original one?

Edit: This is getting confusing as fuck. 0.8.0 uploaded here just 2 days ago or so is actually 6 months old. It's the last update on the clunky engine. All next updates releases are for the remake, starting from 1.0 till 1.90.

I would myself get the Remake 1.90 Tier 2 for 3 dollars cuz his subscribestar is saying Tier 2 gets it 5 days after release for Tier 3 (way past due) but I don't see any patreon/subscribestar/itch post saying it's now available for Tier 2, so not taking the risk to get nothing for it.

I'm refusing to get a Tier 3. I have absolutely no idea what the remake contains or not. A transparent changelog would have been very helpful. This + the whatever 1 day trust period on subscribestar that limits content to the last 3 posts.

Can anyone explain what the pop up is saying "Info - Account was found" ? This pops up everytime you run the game.

Makes me kinda nervous. Is this game calling home? I looked though my appdata folders and don't see any save locations or possible settings.

EDIT: OK, seems this game makes a "hsperfdata_<user>" log file for Java in your AppData/Local/Temp folder.

And you can't delete that folder. (well, you can after you stop all the Java processes, but the game just recreates it soon as you run it again)

Well, all and good. But there's a reason browsers stopped using Java over 6 years ago - security. And if i can't easily parse what exactly is being saved in those compiled log files, then I want nothing to do with the game.

Besides, I remember the grind of this game and the ridiculous file size because the dev chose to stick with Java.

Is there a de-patreon-bullshit patch that makes them back to what they are supposed to be (blood related and actual intended ages)? I really wish someone would burn the datacenter(s) hosting Patreon to the ground (prob AWS), so sick of them ruining AVNs. Of course the creators kissing their asses just for that $ doesn't help. It's probably going to be under 100 lowest-tier subs anyway (31 in this case) since covid is over and many (most?) people post-covid don't want to support an AVN thats been trashed to fit Patreon's standards (a long list of things they don't like, not just incest, and adopted/stepcest is not a safehaven, they can ban it for that too if some snitch reports it) = fuck Patreon, make what's actually in your mind and unfiltered, demented or not.

Edit: now that I think about it, I'm surprised Patreon, being an American company, is even legally allowed to accept any content from Russia, given the ongoing economic sanctions due to the Ukranian War.
