Updated due to the game being leak elsewhere.
I've played other Blackheart games through to completion and I have mostly enjoyed Seath's games. The Guardian is still one of my favorite AVN's. Seath is actually a pretty clever and good writer. This one has a few problems though. So far at least, it feels hastily thrown together with less "quality control" than what I'm used to seeing in Blackheart games. There are several examples of this without getting into specifics:

Dialog that doesn't match the scene/render we are seeing in front of us. Characters behaving/having inconsistent knowledge or maturity levels. Decisions made in part one not carrying over to part two, and then part three. An ever changing and expanding cabin.

It is also difficult to follow the story once the the subplot gets brought in. There are years between games, and each game takes months and years between updates. Now add that we are playing multiple games at once and over a period of years. I think cross pollinating storylines and characters from other Blackheart games only caused confusion for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a nifty idea, but for me at least, it's asking to much of my recall abilities. I think a new story, all new characters, a completely stand alone game disconnected in every way from any other game would have been more enjoyable, but that's just my opinion. I know many authors have an affinity for tying their various works together in some way. (Brandon Sandersons Cosmere comes to mind)

The characters are cute/pretty, the animations are decent but might be getting a bit basic when compared with todays competition. Animation loops are getting longer and more intricate in some other games out there. I do hope this game gets picked back up again, and some time put into polishing the rough edges.

Yeah as I mentioned before making a universe for a movie franchise that has thousands of people working on it is one thing that doesn't work as well when it's for porn stories made by just a few people. Only other dev I've come across that did that was Daniels K before I got bored with Patreon slop, but the difference is he didn't go ape shit with it. Each of his AVNs completely stood on their own with the previous AVN's characters in only cameo appearances in a scene or 2 shoehorned in for fun if it wasn't even just a quick mention in the dialog. If you didn't read his previous AVNs it didn't matter as it wouldn't confuse you if you didn't recognize them from before or make you wonder who they were supposed to be as the cameos were not that complex or interwoven that deep. I guess Seath just assumes most have read everything of his in chronological order, and most probably have if they've followed since TLG was still being developed. But with a new guy, yeah, sometimes they will have to go back and (re)read things in his other AVNs to follow what's going on in their current one, and add to that Mafia stories tend to be rather complicated anyway if it's anything more than Goodfellas or Donnie Brasco in plot complexity.

An ever changing and expanding cabin.
:ROFLMAO: I got so into the lolis that I never noticed this. Objectively, every argument you made in your post is completely true.... but like you I still hope that Seath continues Dire Desires. It's very special, it's my #1

This is horrible news. Seath games have always been the best. Looks like anything loli shota or hebe is finally dead.

He's making his own site, which should be ready in a week or so. Then the white knights can fuck right off. At least Seath isn't one to give up and quit or worse rebrand and make Patreon slop instead like everyone else.

At least for now. He was VERY close to just say fuck it all, stopping his loli games, and making patreon slop..... and getting a 9 2 5 job.... :S
Guess he has a bigger fanbase than someone else, thats actually supporting him and telling him to not give up!

I hope he pulls thru, and he and his team does NOT give in to the white knights! He is one of the very few loli devs still left, and most of his games are.....the best i've ever played.

Here is me, hoping for the best, but kinda still expecting the worst :S

what comes after the new game, it's tlg or the blackheart hotel remake right? or was the remake scrapped, I don't know
More than a month late, sorry about that.
The BHH Remake will come, Seath is already working on 30580248579527929 games, so it'll still be a while.
even with Seath struggling and trying to fix the support for his games with white knight pricks taking his fansly/fanbox down + now currently making a site for people to use.

TLDR: The remake is not scrapped as of yet.
