I do hope that if Seath and his team decide that Dire Desires had positive enough of reception (well as positive as fucked up game like this can get) they expand on it a bit.
I'm in particular curious about the main character as he felt most left out of the story.
Felt lot more cartoonishly evil than usual Blackheart games MCs. Genuinely interested what led the guy to become so bad. What transpired in the past. Why and how he gained his particular... tastes. What he does, how he's able to get away with what he does to others etc.

I just hope to see the sister being involved at some point.

We need more game like this, we have more than enough fairytales to counter-balance but not enough game about shitfuck story involving rape; true blackmail; true necro without being reminded it's bad & we are monsters or getting bad ending when you actually choose the dark path.

I don't think it matters that much, but I think I'd start with The Guardian (if you prefer a story which is a bit lighter) or Blackheart Hotel (which is rather dark and in some ways similar to this one but without the loli's).

Most Blackheart games feature an overarching story about the mafia and a secret cult, but how important it is depends on the game.

In Blackheart Hotel you literally can't avoid it.
In The Guardian you can skip most of it, but the story will make less sense to you if you do.

SOWP and PA have stories which link into the mafia story but (especially PA) can also be played without knowing about it.

This was always intended to be an evil game, not just dark. There was a vote on his discord and the opinion there was "no need for a light side to the story", but also "an option for a corruption path that is still dark but not that full on evil".
I will try out the corruption path today/tomorrow and depending on length I'll have a peek at the evil on after that (assuming I can even stand the "just dark" path )

So I have played this and it's not that bad. I expected the worst really, but got surprised and yeah Disclaimer at the beginning of the game tells you what to expect from this game.
I have seen games which actually make you wonder about your life and make you feel bad, for example Libertine is in my opinion way darker than this game, despite not having Beastiality or r*pe for now in it.
The r*pe scene in this game is avoidable, but if you go with it, it's not like omg wtf man.
Sure you can abuse your niece, but again, it's optional and only needed if you want to unlock all the scenes. This is fiction remember.
Yes, it's dark game, but nowhere near some monstrous ones with mutilation of body, talking about suicide, etc. Of course everything can change in the next updates, so it can go Hell route fast if BH wishes to fully commit down that route.

Oh, the corruption path is still very much "full on evil"
It may go more into manipulation instead of using just violence, but it is very much evil

for example Libertine is in my opinion way darker than this game, despite not having Beastiality or r*pe for now in it.

I'm with you here. Libertine is TAME compared to this lmao. Most "evil" thing is that developer drops the charade and uses certain words to describe the MC and his accomplice and refers to lolis in certain way.
Overall plot is straight up trying to help unfortunate souls who have been affected by a strange condition.
They aren't forcing, they aren't raping.
There is no fucking way Libertine is anywhere near evil.

If you want evil games to compare it to, you have Malignant, Personal Assistant/The Guardian (Not nearly as psychotically evil though), Raptus or Friends in Need.
Man, Friends in Need is particularly evil.

Yeah I mean, Libertine is still a Loli/Shota game, so it is "evil" if we would see it trough a realistic lense, but we are in porn game territory, and Libertine has a plot device making it "okay" in that particular universe, like most games that have Loli themes do, this game doesn't bother with that AND is particularly evil/brutal to the girl on top of that, there is no comparison Ngl, if there wasn't the Sharing and Bestiality part, which is just so rare to find, I would not look at this again :x xD

I guess I am really not much for evil, didn't make it far into Raptus and Malignant... xD and The Guardian and Friends in Need CAN be pretty evil if you decide to, but both can also be sorta wholesome on the other route sometimes xD (Kinda crazy how different the MC in FiN can be depending on your choices xD)

Played the corruption path and I see what you mean. The demo was... doable... though. I will most likely play the full game when it's done.
Looked into the abusive path to fully unlock the gallery, and NOPE, not my thing!

I learned to appreciate the loving corruption games so much more now

Yeah the Abusive path definitely is hard to take in if you're light hearted.. am going for the "Corruption" as far as i can but probably even then i won't continue depending on how far it gets. Aside from that very nice Renders as usual for a Blackheart Game

Oh not the traditional NTR. Why is it labeled NTR if it's basically swinging/Sharing? Well then again I get how some can consider that being NTR. Some wouldn't want to see the FL with others no matter the circumstances. Considering how dark others are saying this is I wouldn't be surprised if it was non-avoidable or if it was forceful sharing not even consensual. Overall the dark/evil path on top of NTR stuff is just not for me

considering LC doesn't even have an "NTR" tag, it uses the full appropriate word with the meaning in parenthesis, how can you even mistake this?
