That is a glitch in the software. It has nothing to do, when you purchase it...

Fine, that's just a convenient excuse based on something I hear a mod talk about, I'm doing it in order because if I don't I will be obsessed about the fact that I have P4 but not P3 and that is wrong(also, secretly dont want to risk it). I could just sell m+ back and that would give me enough to get P4, but that would feel wrong.

I mean, it was implemented originally as a kinda safety measure right? Giving the higher ranks further benefits of unlocking stuff makes it a very clear that that purpose is kinda distorted now...

I find it slightly annoying there's some sections I can't access, so I'm saving up to just straight to P4. But that's a long term plan and there will probably be more benefits by the time I can afford it.

Prestige is for fluff like account customization and a few ai images from some of our users, nothing from outside of LC.
P4 is the destroyer of dreams, people think threre is something special in there while it's not, it's only a tat spicier than members+.

Dumb question but if using the bank do you have to actively collect the interest everyday or is it a bit more 'fire and forget' where you can just check in every so often to get the best results? Just trying to work out the most real world time efficient way to manage it, especially as I've only just now learned the bank exists.

just join some active threads and participate. you get there in no time. and if you participate in ai threads you get there even faster

The math is if I do it and not miss a single day.
But the truth, is that I maybe do it like 4 or 5 time a week. (so way more time needed than planned).

I'm not expecting a holy grail. I'm just irked there's a couple areas M+ doesn't get me and I want access. I mostly just use the General Discussion and Latest Updates areas even with M+ giving me access to most other areas.

Saving up to get them later is the right choice. At 2% interest 50,000 LC in the bank will get you 1,000 per day. Even if you withdraw that interest every day it'll only take 2 months to buy all 4 ranks.

Mime Awards
There are so many great artists posting fantastic art.
Some of it is drawn by hand, some rendered with 3d models, and some rendered with ai models.

I want to award and recognize our great creators here by establishing the Mime Awards.

Daily Awards
Each day, I will select choose my favorite few images of that day. I will post them here (if I can) and send each winner an LC Coin prize.
I will make a post linking to each winning image.

Rules​

• Always follow LC's Rules
• Please don't @ me in threads to get my attention. I'll read them when I can.
  • That said, you can @ me if you really think I've missed something important.
• Your content (you need to have created it yourself) must be shared in one of the threads I created or sent directly to me in a conversation.
• Winners will receive a trade request from me where I'll send you the coins earned for your win.
• Winners will be chosen based on what I see that day, regardless of when the content was posted. If I don't see your post for a few days, it may win on a future day.

That may be less 'want' and more 'unable to get'

A moderately active user posting 20/day would still take over a year* to get P4.

*Yes, bank interest, discounts, and posting bonus will shorten that. But it still takes some effort over a time long enough that horny won't cover it.

your math doesn't math... it's pretty easy to get 500-1000 coin a day with 20 good posts. which means it should take 40-80 days. And during that time it will have a sale which will lover that upper limit.
