Anyone's guess. The dev has had a gremlin in his PC for nearly a year now, so updates are slow to begin with. Add to that last I heard there's no new updates on SS after 0.7 was out to the $20 tier, so my guess is his PC totally died and that will be the last update and abandoned after that, though dunno why he doesn't take sub money and buy another one, unless he's mismanaged/embezzeled that and used it for living expenses rather than what it was supposed to be for (toward the AVN).

I don't know if the free version will be released, but it will be very strange if not.
If we consider approximately two months between an update and the next (after 5$ tier there is 3$ tier), the free version will probabily be released at the end of this year or the beginning of next.
I'm not a subscriber, but i bought versions 0.7a and 0.7b; my latest information is from late September

Like every other AVN worth a crap why would this be on Patreon? 0.7 is working it's way down the tiers, unless it's setup different than usual like some where 0.7 isn't free until 0.8 is released or something.

Really?!?!? can you tell me what you found to be different between the a and b versions??
I've been really curious about this to get a better understanding of what i'd get (or not get) for my money.

Where can we get this info (so we don't have to ask all the time)? His itch.io hasn't had a post since September 2024 and he hasn't replied to any comments in a long time, and his SubscribeStar hides all posts. Is there a Discord for non-subscribers?

You wont the post above was just making a point with how other developers release their games.

Only way to find news is to pay the lowest tier on SubscribeStar to read his posts.

As a matter of fact, I did read the posts above, and none of them say s**t about where the information comes from.

In the above posts, I discovered that the Dev doesn't have a Patreon, and someone posted about the dev's SS apparently having been updated since the original v0.7. And as I said, I also checked their itch.io and it hasn't been updated in 15 months.

So, I suppose it's helpful to know where I won't find the answer, but my question is "where will I find info and updates without having to ask over here?"
