PC: Unzip the mod and put the folder named "game" from the mod in your "DepravedAwakening-1.0-pc" folder.
Mac: Unzip the mod -> Right click your DepravedAwakening app -> Click "Show Package Contents" -> Open the "Contents" then "Resources" folders -> Hold the Option key and drag the folder named "game" from the mod to the "autorun" folder -> Click merge

Spoiler: Features:

• All of dialog in the game has been changed or replaced with new dialog so that Judy is now your actual daughter instead of step-daughter. Judy will refer to you as "Dad" or "Daddy" instead of your name and certain characters can become aware of the special relationship between you and Judy.​
• There is now a full in-game walkthrough for every important choice in the game! If a choice is required to see a scene it will be highlighted so you don't have to worry about missing scenes. Choices that aren't important and don't have lasting effects aren't highlighted so you still have freedom and can pick your preferred choice.​
• It's actually crazy how much content you get locked out of seeing in this game for absolutely no reason. I've made a ton of changes so that many scenes can actually be played without causing you to miss future scenes.​
• All the scenes in the scene gallery are now automatically unlocked/playable so you don't have to replay the game to use the gallery.​

There's something weird going on. At around 1:12 you should get a prompt to select:
- Talk about your wife
- Talk about your work
- Ask about her
Instead you just get a prompt for "On with it", which should be a prompt for:
- Deepthroat
- Anal
- On with it

Right where the game goes back to the main menu it should give you a choice between:
-Blow Job
-Bend over

Can't say what's gone wrong, maybe the download you got is corrupted in some way.
I just tried the PC version from MEGA, and I can get through it without issues. Which one of the mirrors did you use? Just so I can check that one as well.

That is very odd. The next part of the script is:

    menu:
        "Blow Job" if ch1blow == False:
            jump ch1blowjob
        "Bend Over" if ch1bend == False:
            jump ch1bentover
    return

If ch1bend and ch1blow are both True, it'll skip the options and return (to the main menu in this case); but those are set to False by default, and there doesn't seem to be a way to set them to True before getting to that menu. So I have no idea how that's happening. If it keeps happening you could set those variables to False in the console before you get to that point.

(If you don't know how to enable/use the console: download Unren, drop it into the folder that has the game .exe, run it and choose the option that enables the console, open the game/load your save and then Shift+O, type in ch1blow = False then Enter, then ch1bend = False then Enter.)

It feels like a game that will appeal to some and be very meh to others. The 'art' side of it is really nice. Lots of atmosphere and character, especially for when it came out. The porny rendering is better than average, but not the best on Earth. The story is only okay, the gaminess is only okay (choices matter, but not especially much), and the writing is good, but not amazing. If you like a game that's more 'pretty story with porn' instead of 'give me fucking porn', this is a classic.

I guess i'll give it another go. I remember vaguely playing it and thinking is was not that good as everyone else thinks. Maybe i was wrong, downloading it again right now.

I don't remember exactly what, but I think one of the factors for my initial dislike of the game was the detective theme. Or that I didn't connect with Philly's storytelling. But as I said, I replayed it last summer after playing COBD, and then I ended up loving it. You don't lose anything by trying it again so good luck.

I posted my incest patch for this game over in the mods section here. It strips the walkthrough components out of Maid Lain's mod leaving only the incest and adds a Daddy roleplay scene for Christina during the night at her house.

It does throw an error when you launch it the first time as I had to replace the screens.rpy file. Close the game after the first error and it should launch cleanly after that.
