try this:
1 download and install renpy sdk 2.7 for mac
2 unpack your downloaded mac version of a game
3 copy Game folder into your installed mac renpy sdk.
4 play & enjoy.
5 I'm NOT a MAC user

hey, it is a multiplatformer RenPy.

content of Game directory same for any platform. and for android too (you just need to rename files).
you need take Game dir for PC version and put it into your MAC other renpy game (with same python version) - ths must help.

As far as I understand it this happens because someone - the unspecified "moderator" shown as having edited the OP on Thursday, love the lack of transparency there - did the edit in a way that makes it look like an update to the game, instead of just to the thread. This is the same issue that's been doing the rounds for about 6 months now, apparently uploaders and mods are supposed to do things in a specific way to avoid old threads being pushed to the top, but some of them refuse to do this so it keeps on happening., every time someone adds an updated download link or port to an ancient game.

HeisenJackwhatever makes assurances that this will stop but it never does, and there have been a lot of angry responses like "Latest Updates is fixed and you're wrong" doing the rounds for anyone complaining. I notice the "LU order of game threads" "idea" has been marked as "Done", but is still failing at a fundamental level if there's a way for mods and uploaders to effectively break sorting on a game-by-game basis.
