Catgirls or real monstergirls?

I think they can and do in a lot of cases. The appearance is important, but their mannerisms also matter.

But it's also a perception thing. So to a furry or someone who is only attracted to girls with primarily non-monster characteristics, then probably not.

Though the image only goes skindeep, I think it shows that perspective fairly well.

That said, to people who are attracted to more primarily humanoid/human characteristics, then in many cases the catgirl/neko DOES count as a monstergirl or furry.

I don't consider myself a furry but I stop at the fourth from the left in most cases on this chart.

Buuuut I've also gotten off to porn of Merle from Escaflowne/Visions of Escaflowne.

So it's really quite subjective, but there aren't any other similar instances in my life save for the twins from Thundercats, and even then that very much depends on how they're drawn.
Awesome chart. Yes to all of them..

cat girls and bunny girls do not really count as monsters unless they are furry all over and have six nipples.

Catgirls should not be categorized as monstergirls in the same way cats are not generally reckoned to be monsters

Typically, when I see a monster girl portrayed she's heavily modified to be that. Whereas with a cat girl it's just like ears, tail, maybe some claws, nothing too over the top. I think there's a difference but I prefer real for me personally and not monster or cat.

Monstergirls all the way, to me normal girls with accessories are just doing things half-heartedly, and you would need a nice piece of writing to make up for it.

My time on the internet has revealed things about myself I did not know. I currently know that monster girls are more appealing to me than standard cat girls. I hope that this changes in the near future.

I dont like either but if I had to choose cat girl I guess they look the most human

Not furry, just having a cat ear and tail is good (neko) but complete is a no

With anime really enjoyed the Monster Girl series, so enjoy when find a game with them done well. Don't mine cat girls either, though.

While I'll never consider myself a furry, catgirls have always been an easy yes please for me. Lately I've also been playing Friendship With Benefits 2, so I guess I lean more that way than I originally thought. Also, Judy Hopps is fricking hot.

Catgirls are cute. So are dragons, demons and other "monsters" if they resemble a girl.

Yup, it’s not a black and white topic. Generally not a fan of furry but sometimes they look furry and human in the right ways

Depends what the body looks like, I wouldnt classify it as a monster if it looks cute and sexy. Now an ogre I would classify as a monster

Furries seem to become more appealing as time goes on. Down the rabbit hole I go, pun intended.

It all depends. games like Inn another world i have no problem with, but anything that is too animalistic and then you are getting into full blown beastility and that is not for me.
