If P5 is any indicator at the end of the day people can and will make what they want if/when they feel like it if they know how. Just because it's not allowed on some platform or even illegal won't change that as long as there's demand, at best just slow it down. AVNs are still being made even when they are now mostly shit and relatively no one is paying for them anymore with most devs now getting peanuts for it (maybe $1 an hour) so obviously money is not the all-consuming goal of everyone thankfully. With the trillion dollars a year being sunk into AI-related tech it won't be too long before AI will be able to make all aspects of an AVN and not just the realistic renders: writing, coding, posting it to LC, and acting like a real human in the relevant thread when posting responses to comments. And if the original dev no longer has anything to do with it and it's distributed the way illegal torrents now are for free (with no one having a complete copy of the AI or what it's making, only donating some computing power) who would they arrest even if it was cranking out outright illegal stuff? Loli fans may presently have reason to be depressed, but over the course of the next decade or 2 dumb shit like Collective Karen is just a temporary setback. As much as I'm sure many would like to have games using more photorealism, I don't see how that can be pulled off in a game without the characters all looking very over 18. Thinking about it now, I guess it could get past censors if the characters were all furries, they would probably need to be furry from head to toe to avoid any auto detection bot so the game would end up being so niche you'd not see many paid supporters.
