I like to think that it's in-universe for this guy. He's a dumbass poseur and a total dick. It's one of the reasons I like this game.

There are like four basic archetypes for these guys:

1. My dad died and I'm moving home with my mom(landlady) and seven sisters(roommates) and also my aunt and her nine daughters and all their friends.
2. I'm an independently wealthy father who runs my own business and fucks whoever the fuck I want constantly, including my wife and daughters and their friends, and they're cool with it.
3. I'm just a regular guy who gets an crazy opportunity due to meeting this extremely hot rich lady and her friends.
4. I'm a fucking psycho.

This game is #4.

Edit: Looks like it's probably just bug fixes. I loaded both possible endings from before (Alice or Hailey) and it ends where 0.06.01v1 ended. So probably don't bother downloading after all.

I don't understand the reason for your post, the new update 0.61v1 is already present in OP. The one you mentioned is a previous update. And without giving spoilers, I would add that the new update is really worth it

This is for the old version as the mac and android version are on 0.0601v2 but the windows version is on 0.061v1. Add the fix to the mac and android but removed it from the windows version right after seeing that the version number was the same as the one listed for the old mac and android links.

Yeah, sorry about that, everyone. I got a notification and copied what I thought was the update. You're both right, ofc. Between misreading the date and seeing v2 in the number, I thought this was some quick bugfix turnaround or something. Sorry again; I've deleted my post as well to avoid further confusion.
