Then don't skip it, the best part of VN and rarely where you will find it. Diversity is important?By skipping the trap content, this update got veeery short...

I wouldn't say it's very important because he focuses on Hailey in one update and Riley in the other update, so there's a balance. But I understand that the presence of Riley in VN is uncomfortable for ardent homophobes, but it is what it is.I dropped this game back when it became apparent that the Riley content was super important to the dev and a big chunk of the total content. Like trying to play Apartment 69 while skipping Nea. Or eating a Reuben sandwich when you hate sauerkraut (as I do).![]()
I've played the game since the start, and while I agree with your original point of it is a well balanced game update wise. The latter part however where you're referring people who chose choices that avoid Riley because it isn't their kink as "ardent homophobes" is just plain ignorant. I like many others am a straight male. As such I do not get turned on by the sight of a dick, nor do I get turned on by two gay people (trap or not) going at it, just isn't my thing. That doesn't make me a homophobe, nor does it make Nastastic, reggi or Slavious homophobes. I myself understand and accept that homosexual people exist, as do most and for that, to each their own, what they do with their bodies is none of my concern.I wouldn't say it's very important because he focuses on Hailey in one update and Riley in the other update, so there's a balance. By the way, there is not so much content with Nea in A69, so it is very possible to go through the VN by skipping a character.
I do not refer people who simply skip content with Riley to be an ardent homophobe, I refer to those who shout that such content prevails in the VN or say it is a pity are that such content has appeared, i.e. exaggerate the significance of the situation. I often see when a noise start because of one scene with LGBT people, as if this is such a tragedy that destroys people's destinies. It's stupid and it's annoying. To each his own. This VN does not focus specifically on gay content and it can be easily missed, there is no point even raising this topic.I've played the game since the start, and while I agree with your original point of it is a well balanced game update wise. I understand your viewpoint, and again while I agree there are better ways for people to go about expressing their displeasure (for lack of a better phrase). I do not agree that people whom do not like LGBT scenes for what ever reasons, who choose to express their displeasure for those scenes being referred to as homophobes. As that sets a less calm precedent for conversation. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and as such there is no "wrong" opinion, sure some are less kind about it, they should be addressed and at first requested to be a bit nicer about what they're trying to put forward and I also know there are some who will hound developers in an attempt to have content they dislike removed. Which I am totally against as that takes the position of everyone but the developer is the "boss" so the dev has to do what they say, which is just wrong.I do not refer people who simply skip content with Riley to be an ardent homophobe, I refer to those who shout that such content prevails in the VN or say it is a pity are that such content has appeared, i.e. exaggerate the significance of the situation. Jump to conclusions much? I am not homophobic at all. I am not homosexual (or bisexual). There is a difference. There is simply some content I have no interest in seeing, or even having it happen off-camera with my character if I choose not to see it. If the Riley content does not happen if you skip it, then I was mistaken and I might try the game again at some point. I am happy for there to be LGBT+ representation in games and don't mind seeing those characters or interacting with them in nonsexual ways. But I would like to have my character not engage sexually with men, boys, traps, futas, transwomen, furries, and some other types of content. I don't want to skip it, I want it not to happen. I don't think I'm alone in that, nor do I think it makes me an intolerant person.I wouldn't say it's very important because he focuses on Hailey in one update and Riley in the other update, so there's a balance. What does it mean to jump to conclusions? Does this mean just passing by the topic or emotionally speaking out or killing people who relate to that topic? Will we look for boundaries? No. This forum is for another. You say that you are not homophobic, but you yourself wrote that you do not want LGBT content to be in the VN with the possibility of skipping it. And the possibility of missing such a thing is neutrality. I don't care what's in the VN as long as I can skip it. I generally hate NTR, but if it is present on other branches and I don't see it in my branch, then I won't even comment on its presence. It doesn't make sense, to each his own.Jump to conclusions much? I am not homophobic at all. I am not homosexual (or bisexual). There is a difference. Jumping to conclusions means making a snap judgment without sufficient data, such as calling me a homophobe because I did not want to play a game in which my character is required to have sex with a male. I did not say that I did not want LGBT+ content in the game. I said I want it to NOT HAPPEN TO MY CHARACTER if I choose to bypass it. If I simply choose to skip seeing it and it still happens, that is not satisfactory to me. Lots of people feel similarly about NTR and other content that only appeals to a certain audience. I even said I might return to the game if the MC DOES NOT HAVE SEX WITH RILEY IF I CHOOSE NOT TO HAVE SEX WITH RILEY. It's also possible I mistook the amount of trans content in A69 (I only played the first release). Just because I do not wish to watch gay sex, or to have my character partake in it (onscreen or offscreen) that does not mean that I have a problem with the existence of gay people or gay sex. Though it seems there may be a language barrier issue as well. What does it mean to jump to conclusions? Why do people have a constant desire to put their 2 cents on any topic
If you don't like something, you can just pass by, it's someone else's story anyway, if someone wants, they can do their VN only with straight people or LGBT people, than "be offended" in the comments
Where I survive, the word "democracy" is forbidden, so I don't understand when people start to throw out their opinions in the comments that something upsets them in someone else's idea, because they can't change anything, it's someone else's project and that's how the author sees it?
Funny it's similar for me. Usually no Interest in Gay or Trap content but Riley works some way for me. Really like his Character, interested in his Story with the Girl and the Power dynamic with MC is somewhat hot idk.I'm a straight male, I've never been and still am not attracted to men, and in fact I don't play entirely gay games, but I don't mind if there are scenes in a game together with others: but that Riley...I'd fuck him in the ass so hard they'd hear the screams miles away. It would be an experience, and I'm open-minded enough to admit that I'd be strongly attracted to him even if it were real.
Iirc it's like the Scene never happened, but with how the Game is routed so far you still keep running into Situations that can lead to new ScenesIf the Riley content does not happen if you skip it, then I was mistaken and I might try the game again at some point.
Everyone is/should be entitled to their own opinions, within certain Boundaries. There's a line where when crossed opinions become harassment or worse.Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and as such there is no "wrong" opinion, sure some are less kind about it, they should be addressed and at first requested to be a bit nicer about what they're trying to put forward and I also know there are some who will hound developers in an attempt to have content they dislike removed.
Which is why I said "sure some are less kind about it, they should be addressed and at first requested to be a bit nicer about what they're trying to put forward". I was not advocating allowing people to be utter pricks and get away with it, not at all. I was simply stating the fact that everyone has an opinion and by definition no opinion is right nor wrong.Everyone is/should be entitled to their own opinions, within certain Boundaries. There's a line where when crossed opinions become harassment or worse.
It is. But there's no need to continue a drama that's pointless. You can state your preferences but it's messed up to say "Yeah, that's YOUR way! My way is better!" when it doesn't matter. These passive argument of assuming things towards another person leads to Off-Topic when it should be about the game, itself. That is why I stepped in. Like, man. Argue about who's hotter for once. We're always arguing about the contents or the plot. Would be a nice change of pace. (I would secretly bring popcorn, I swearMy only point was that the last two updates I've encountered, after the mom/daugher wild scene in the living room, have been riley focussed or posh pool lady that i don't understand yet focussed.
I'm not here to kink shame, or tell the creator what they can or can not put in their creative work. I only observed that the game seemed more heavily focussed towards Hailey in the beginning and now seemed to be either more fairly distributed or even leaning to the other content in more recent updates.
These are not moral judgements. just observations/feelings based on the updates I've encountered.
I thought the purpose of a forum was to discuss. it would make sense therefore to discuss the content of the story in its forum post no? this way individuals can read these discussions and decide for themselves if the story is worth playing or continuing to play.
Somebody mentioned the updates alternate. this is good for me to know, now I can choose to update only every second time so that I can engage the content I find most interesting.
there's really no need for name calling or any of that stuff.
