I really like the game, but my potato PC sucks, and while it's technically playable, it's runs slow for me, and couldn't finish it because I got annoyed lol

To do this, you first need to extract the RPA packages (I use UnRen.bat for this). Then, in the "game" directory, you will find the file "gui.rpy". Decrease the value of gui.nvl_list_length in line 372 (100 should be sufficient and no longer cause performance issues).

"Sojourner" the original creator, artist & storyteller of Bored Kitty is away for a month, they flooded out content for a month before they left.

i see zero mention of "Sojourner" in the title page even though without "Sojourner" their would be no "Bored Kitty"

you'll have to ask @voidsquad (who doesn't seem to have a valid account here) if they have enough content for an update & how long it takes to compile & code everything.

"Sojourner" is a madman, I've seen him spit out 300 or 400 hi quality renders + the story in a week

you gotta read "The Adventures of Miko Jones"

maybe i'll upload it here, all of chapters 1 to 6 (7 is not saved & 8 is a WIP)

I finally found the original story series by Sojourner.

It looks like almost all of art in the game is lifted from the original series. The format is an online chat and there are many guys interacting with Amy. She takes turns answering each message. One person is telling her how beautiful she looks. Another says he wants to photograph her and encourages her to take off clothes.

Amy's sister Anna is included in some scenes so I'm guessing Anna's role will expand in the next update.

The game implies that there could be a face-to-face meeting in the future but there is no hint of that in the Sojourner version. It's all strictly online chat. Amy and Anna also share stories about interactions with their perverted father.

You wouldn't hapen to be able to provide a link to the story or site would you? I'd be interested in reading the original work and anything else they have.

in december, minimum.

dev says "the original story is not going in the direction of his game" & since the dev is riding the coattails of the original story creator i'm guessing he's fucked or going to have to learn to use DAZ 3D

the game dev makes zero content for the game, just bends & twists stuff.

i've never played it & never will, the original story (by Sojourner) is way better than "an impersonator"

I'm somewhat confused by that statement.

This is the first line of the game overview under the banner:

Some time last year, I asked Sojourner if I could create a game based on the Bored Kitty thread. This is that game.

First line of the Dev Notes:

Bored Kitty character and images: Sojourner.

And this is the entire Credits block:

Credits to Sojourner who spent 100s hours of creating this renders and the idea behind it. the entire process of doing a live rendered chat story and the development.

You obviously have every right to prefer the original by Sojourner as well as hate this game, but it's pretty clear to me that the dev of this game both had permission and is giving credit.

Can you share which speculation ("this" is a little vague when many posts are discussing the dev's motivations) we're speaking about in particular, so we can comment on it?

"Title page" is pretty vague. Are you referring to the Main Menu of the game? That doesn't list any attributions, not even the dev. It's just the Main Menu, what appears to be a screenshot of the game, Game Title, and Version. Of course the Main Menu does have an About selection, which does tell you the author of the game, but again, the first sentence there gives credit to the original author of the story.

I guess the dev could put it in flashing rainbow colors on each page of the game, starting with the splash screen, but it certainly appears that they aren't trying to steal credit. Sojourner is mentioned multiple times in the OP, is mentioned above the dev credit in game, and I'm pretty sure I saw similar credits at the original source, where both Sojourner and Voidsquad hang out. I've yet to see Sojourner speak up against the dev over there. It's pretty obvious you have a beef with Voidsquad (who I don't know from Adam, so he/she could certainly be a little dipshit), I just don't see where it's coming from in this thread or the game. If you have information to show his/her dickheadedness from another internet location, feel free to share it so I can jump on your bandwagon.
