I've been trying to get back into reading real books again lately. Let's share what we've all been reading outside the AVN space.

I finished the most recent book in the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown not long ago (Amazing in my opinion by the way; I definitely recommend for modern Sci-Fi fans). I just started Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. So far I'm liking it, but I'm not far in yet. Obviously, I'm a Scifi and Fantasy person, but I look forward to some good recommendations from any genre here.
Albert Camus - the myth of Sysiphus

Last book i read was 1984. It's one of those i read once every decade. The older i get the more i understand reading it. I guess i obtain new experience in between and that change how i'm handling the message.

After watching two seasons of Witcher form Netflix, I decided that I have to read Witcher books by Sapkowski again, to check if my memory is so bad or the netfilx version is nowhere near to the original. (Spoiler - netflix's series is not even close in plot and in quality).

ill try to read a real book again some time in this year jejeje

I started reading Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse but never finished it

Ur best bet would be to use a site made for FF the one I use is "Archive of our own" I like what it stands for (its a non profit that gives freedom of speech with very little censorship) and its easy to navigate

Wish i had the time. I want to finish Wheel of Time, the ones Brandon wrote. I don't really read long novels at that often these days. What i do read are film making of books. Artbooks. Graphic Novels. But even that is very seldom.
Find the time however you can to finish the series. Jordan left notes on how he wanted Brandon to finish the series and Brandon did a great job of finishing the series. You wont be disappointed

the first 6 books were great. Probably better than Tolkien for me back then, the 1990s ones awesome. Wheel of time was great, maybe i should listen to the audiobooks.

Multiple friends have been pushing Brandon Sanderson at me. I'm just not sure if I want to start with Stormlight Archive or Mistborn, and everyone I talk to seems to have a differing strong opinion with regards to that.

I started reading the Gathering Storm. I also started the Hobbit based on the 1995 Harper Collins text. I want the facsimile First Edition but i don't own it. Wish there was a similar first edition of Lord of the Rings, the only one i know of is out of my range, the ace paperbacks.

I love books. Physical books...but I no longer have the room for them...I used to read A LOT.
I found eBooks, and was happy for a while...then cataracts set in...now I just listen to Audio Books. :( I have since had cataract surgery tho, but still stick with Audio Books

Currently in the process of listening to and as soon as I am finished, I will be listening to Book 15 of the series.
