    Xmen 2 is unique among games I've played. As soon as you boot it up, it just throws you face first into the first level. No menu, start screen, nothing. Just a random character and go.

    I'm apparently in the vast minority here, being pro-Genesis. It may not have had the big final fantasies and CT and stuff, but it has a ton of hidden gems. Aladdin was also better on genesis :)

    In terms of underrated Normal Games, I can't recommend the Shadowrun Returns trilogy enough. Each game in the trilogy just gets better and better.

    It all depends on how grindy it is. Games like The Headmaster are just the right amount of grind for me. But if it's just constant cycling for days at a time, then it burns you out real freakin fast.

    Skyrim (and the previous Elder Scrolls) are all classic examples of the total being greater than the sum of its parts. Nothing about them is perfect, but its a lot of really good things held together with duct tape and dreams.
