I don't think it's about games at all. I'll try and be brief, since it's politics but also gaming.Well, one of the few things the current US administration is doing now is apparently stopping payment processors from doing this. However, it seems like a trojan horse, and would they only do selective enforcement. I dont think any government agency wants to be looked as 'supporting incest', even though there is absolutely nothing morally wrong with it
I can't find the original, but it's mostly so that some legal purchases (guns, donations to party or group 'so and so', etc...) supported by the current administration can't be blocked.
It'll be used by both sides REP and DEM to stop Credit Card companies from going "Yeah, it's legal but we care because of risk / we are part of lobby group x."
Now, if I'm wrong about the gaming / porn aspect and that's why they did it, I'd be happy.
But I suspect it's "No darn' criddit cahrd comp'ny is gunna stahp me frum gett'n mah guhn." BUT, it could all be in my head.
