BDSM, while enjoyable, is really hard to portray well. Especially since the 50 shades nonsense came out, people got an extremely twisted idea of what it is.

Nah as said above it's not my thing, but a little pain can enhance sexual foreplay if both partners agree to it.

Just beware the more extreme versions which end up killing people.
