Hmm... It's not that we're defensive about it. It's that we know more about it than the public. The reason why this Dev rushed it, and yes, I do agree that he posted a bit too soon, he was mostly trying to set everything up. To get it ready for the real thing. I'd just be a bit patient and wait on this until the next update come out. I get the feeling this game will be a good one for us perverts. Lol.

Exactly as he said. The game is close to being ready for full release. This means people are going to want a subscribestar, or Patreon link so they can follow it for updates. Unfortunately, many of these sites now require you to have something posted before they will let you set up the page. So the best course of action, seen by the devs, is to release a short, maybe buggy demo, so they have something to show the sites and can get their stuff up and ready for their followers or fans. Especially with how long it takes for subscribestar to approve you. Once you get that okay, but you need to show us you have something already. You need to react fast or they will move on to the next guy waiting.

Well, I wanted to give my honest feedback and I have to say, this AVN needs LOTS of fixes and work. I'm really glad to hear that the developer is working of the issues it has. Trust me, I understand that it is only a DEMO.
With that said, I'm not ready to dismiss this AVN just yet. The story outline seems very interesting so I'm going to come back to it when the next update comes out.
I really hope the developer gets the help they need. Could always use another great AVN.

My thoughts:

1) The introductory sequence with the 3 smols (Raegan, Ryley and Rey) and 1 teen (Kayla) would be an EXCELLENT place to put an age choice. The smols don't strike me as any older than about 14, if that, with Kayla maybe being 16-18.

2) The MC (Eric, a name likely to be frequently changed) is stated by Kayla to be the same age as her. The two MILFs (Nora the mommyfucking target and her sister Kelly) are stated to be 35 and 34 respectively. They must have gotten an early start...

3) Which I guess kinda goes with how even the smols seem to be at least semi-trained operatives already, including on the enemy side (I wonder if "Black" might be Raegan's PTSD-suffering friend Nicole?)

4) All this stuff makes me wonder if the game is going to play like an NSFW version of "Spy Kids." With an 18-year-old "badass" mommyfucker MC at the center of everything. I hope he gets some action in the next update with someone other than mommy. All the girls seem to want his dick and the game does have the harem tag so I imagine he won't stay "mom-ogamous" for too long.

5) Technically I didn't notice any major flaws. Apparently having a bit of extra polish time (not to mention all the criticism) helped out.

6) I'll reserve final judgement for the next couple of releases. I'm well aware my distaste for mommyfucking content (and 18 year old boy MCs) is a minority thing among incest game lovers, lol. If you include decent amounts of stuff I won't want to spacebar through though, you will be forgiven. Seriously, make the game you want to make and have a good time doing it. And don't be afraid of age stuff if you're not trying to get onto Patreon (or F95).

Kelly (IIRC) does state that Kayla is "the same age" as the MC, and either she or Nora say that the younger girls are in "their final year" of school, so that's likely all the age specificity we're going to get for anyone not clearly adult.

And given how aggressive Kayla was in her little show for the MC, I think you can be certain that it's not going to be a 'mommyfucker' game.

One name fuckup I saw: Raegan and Ryley are swapped as speakers for two lines after walking in on MC/Nora/Kelly sleeping together.

Aesthetically, eeeeeeeeverything is way too dark. The game's lit like we've actually got to pay power bills, and the visuals suffer significantly for it. Don't light Daz games realistically. Ever. It will always end up looking like this: washed out and with every render uncomfortably dim. Light them like you're lighting a movie or TV set, not like a real place. The actors need to be well-lit and visible at basically all times, even in "dark" scenes.

Lastly, the game itself (and its folder) appear to call the game "Assassin", while this thread calls it "Assassins". Which is the correct game name?

Actually if I recall correctly, the smols are not in their "final year" of school, but the "final year" before they enter "specialty schools" or some shit. I would interpret that as "high school" lol.

So the key to getting Kayla Rey Ryley and Raegan will be Nora and Kelly. It is why the Mom and Eric are already at where they are. Also Kayla a few months younger then Eric.

I just finished playing the prologue (didn't relies there was an update till today) and I must say, Desert Dog, you cleaned this visual novel nicely! I saw very few mistakes, and the story was compelling. I would like to put in some personal critiques I saw but they are really nothing to big. First, when the family gets back to the house in the city, the MC kept going on and on about his feelings and lewd thoughts about his mother while still trying to settle down from the situation. I have to say that I felt that at that particular point in time, it just didn't seem to fit. They were going something very traumatic and were still dealing with it. It just felt like the moment should have been a little more about securing the family and not his lust, but like I said, only at that particular moment did it feel out of place.
I also have a suggestion. At some point in time, it might be nice to be able to change the dialogue box to be more clear. With it being so dark at times, I had to remove the dialogue box a few times to see the renders properly, plus, when Black talked, you could barely see her name tag in the dialogue box.
Other then that, I did notice a couple of little things here and there, but I see others have already mentioned them so no need for them to be repeated, but that is honestly all I have. So far I'm really liking what I'm seeing and I am very much looking forward to seeing where the story goes. Great work Desert Dog, and thank you!

ahh its going have a story it wont be just all fucking. the story will have sex in it yes but it will be story based. So its about family that starts off as shown in a safe house cause a enemy group wants to kill off the family. You will find in later updates who and why they are trying to kill the family. I have where there is twist and turns going on along with trick of the eye as well making people thinking of one thing but something else is going on. I will be showing missions that the group will be going on as well. so it will have sex but it will be more story base that just has sex in it. Hopefully this will help answering your question .
