discussion Anyone else not able to play RPGM's anymore?

I used to play rpgm but now it's hard for me, I prefer virtual novels in ren'py.

The last RPGM game I actually cared about was Monster Girl Paradox, and thats because the game goes deep into what makes a good RPG.

I put them in the category of you better hook me in 10 minutes or I am outta here -- particularly if it has a combat feature = boring

Always get sad when a game with good art is RPGM. There have been very few that can hold interest.

tried some rpgm but the time you need have to invest for the next scene (a few pics) is not worth the payout.

Didn't Roundscape start replacing all their old art with AI stuff a couple months back?

I think old art is staying as is new art is all AI. I could be wrong though, honestly that game has been in production for nearly a decade now. they really should just finish it and start something from scratch.

I never liked it, I think it's a pain to walk around and find out what to do.

The only ones I have actually liked are the NLT media games and peasants quest.

There's too much padding in them now. Not to mention most of them would be better off being a VN

Claire's Quest is a great one. Regret Island has some potential.

I don't think RPGs are suitable for porn. I much prefer RenPy or UNIT.
