discussion Anyone else actually a fan of the grinding games?

I don't like when there are grinding scenes, I systematically skip

If it has a lot of content it's worth it, but there are games where you need to farm and explore for hours just for a few scenes.

I personally love grinding games, to a point of course, such as Loser (Night City Productions). Wondering if I'm the odd duck out.

sometimes it's alright to play something mindless not having to think much, but it needs to lead to something at healthy intervals otherwise it's literally a time sink

It's a balance right. If the grind is done well it can enhance the story and the reward but grind for grind sake or excessive and I'm out

Don't have the luxury of times to grind though. So for me as little grind as possible if necessary

I don't like them. I have a finite amount of time, and I can't be wasting them playing a porn game.

I like grinding game as long as it involves skill or some sort of IRL improvement (memorizing, quick thinking, reflex, etc)

depends on the grind. i dont mind usually, but sometimes i'll come across a game thats like "to unlock the next part, get x stat to level 4" which will be like 1000 points and you get 1 point everytime you train it. at that point i go straight to save editing

100% depends on the grind. If it's way too time consuming I just find a gallery unlocker through Renpy or save file in RPGM.

If the gameplay loop is rewarding then yeah grinding can be fun. Especially if you can get over-powered.

real grinding for add time to a game are bad design for me. a good grinding with enough earning (good /bonus Pic/vid) can work

It should be a grind that eases its way out, a game where you actually do better as you play and see improvement a lot of games are simply missing that and thats where a lot of people seem to dislike grind, theres no improvement.

A little bit of grind is good - can help with pacing in some cases. But if I need to grind for 15+ minutes, well... The urge to Alt+F4 out of the game becomes stronger and stronger

I don't mind as long as the story goes along with the grind.

If in any other games like persona for example its kinda relaxing, but for Adult games not so much but i don't really mind.
