I used to play it years and years ago after my cousin donated me his collection of fairly old cards.

Still gathering since 1995. Sadly, I get to play it less and less in recent years and Arena is not a good replacement for good old paper magic.

I just recently got into Commander, actually and I am still quite exited about it. Not a fan of Wizards/Hasbro at all and not a fan of the concept of Tcgs as a way to gamble, but man the game itself, especially the deckbuilding is just so fun!
I got hooked by a Niv-Mizzet deck I got lent, so I went and built my own (and had tons of fun with it), but it was a but too powerful for my playgroup. I would always either get killed before I got him out, or win very quickly after I got him out. So I now built a Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart deck as a substitute. He is a WU 1/3 who lets you draw a card whenever you cast an instant or sorcery, but you also have to tap two creatures you control for it. So similar to Niv-Mizzet, but waaaay less powerful, requires some setup in getting rnough things to tap and in turns its much easier to get out and get your game plan going. Then I filled up the deck with as many instants as I could, so I can always play in other player's turns and keep up mana for counterspells (of which the deck runs quite a few). It feels really good to play, and is strong in its controlling capabilities but doesn't have any of the combo capabilities thet Niv-Mizzet has. Still a bit salt-inducing as its azorius control, but I really like it :)

Used to play casually, and I do have a considerable card collection still, though its mostly cards I bought in bulk to eventually try and deck build with and never did. I was never good enough to actually get into really playing aside from matches against friends. moved on in life from the people I used to play with, and just gradually stopped playing all together. I have no interest in going to local game spots and just playing random people, and I have neither the skill or interest for any form of competition. So now I just more or less have a few boxes of cards collecting dust, which is a shame, but it is what it is.

What else but mtg would make me broke enough to go to the seven seas.... oh wait existing in capitalism does that. But yes i spend way to much on my cardboardcrack.
