Unfortunately this eggman still lives.
I remember choking her until she passed out two or three times. The first time she got scared, but she liked it, and the other times were just because she ended up enjoying it, hahaha.
Although I personally didn't really like it—it's way too risky. I know first aid and what to do in an emergency, but that's exactly why I know it's so risky to do.
Also this is the first thing i read upon opening this thread so thats interesting

Aha! Games have poll, m+ and no rank doesn't.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is, without a doubt, the best series of official Pokémon games. The only bad one is Gates to Infinity; one of the most beloved is Explorers of Time, Sky, and Darkness; and personally, the best of them all is Super Mystery Dungeon.

I should remember to share my mod list.
The OG mystery dungeon absolutely floored me with the post game, I already thought the base game was good and then it just kept going. I still sometimes compare modern games to it when looking at bang for buck, it's almost impossible to get that level of content out of a game anymore :(

Damn I missed a hell of a conversation lmao. My 2 sense on aspyhxiation, hot as hell if done right. Don't actually cut off the windpipe completely, just clamp the sides to constrict bloodflow. Requires a lot of trust between parties, and I've never made somebody pass out completely. I always aired on the side of caution till we got comfortable and then let her decide how far it went. Safe kink is good king 🫡

I really need to play them still ... I started mystery dungeon blue rescue team like a few years ago, but almost immediately afterwards I lost my DS somewhere while on vacation. Been too lazy to emulate it but maybe I should do that as my next game

1000% recommend, imo emulators for some earlier ds games don't hit the same since they really leaned into the touch screen, but it's better than not experiencing them for sure! My favorite part of the first 2 mystery dungeons is the mirroring of ds vs gba game slots, the cover arts were looking down/up at each other from the actual positions in the console, and their connectivity even reflected that. Lots of flavor that are missed from modern renditions imo

yeah ... I wouldn't emulate if I could avoid it, but don't think I'll be getting a new DS anytime soon. There's definitively a charm to playing on a DS that nothing can recreate though unlike most other consoles, some of that is definitely just nostalgia talking, but games that took full advantage of the hardware just can't be recreated anywhere else

For real. I think ds and early Wii were really creative with how they used hardware. I like the direction switch2 joycons seems to be taking, but I need developers to hop on board with the higher fidelity IR sensor stuff and motion controls

yeah for sure. I should boot up my wii too soon and play some games on there, I'm one of those weirdos who genuinely liked motion controls quite a bit when used well :p

Motion controls are peak! Early wii could be used as a pseudo workout, I loved it and the early kinect

I may have had a WiiFit. Though I enjoyed Skyward Sword the motion controls grew bored after a while for me.

yea skyward sword was kinda botched imo, the addons for better quality motion capture were cool in theory but didn't really pan out, and then nintendo immediately dropped them. That's part of the reason I'm optimistic for switch2 joycons, seems like they're revisiting the idea

missed potential, think they could've done something so much cooler with that game than they ended up doing

I actually like the Imprisoned fight, but didn't they keep making you fight it over and over again, it's been a long time.

Oh yeah, now that I think of it, I wanted to share this with you guys. It's a huge template for choosing your favorite Pokémon by type, generation, legendary status, and so on. It has tons of options. I was filling it out with my brother.

This is mine

Did you play every generation religiously to know that much about every Pokémon? I’m only really familiar with Gens 1 to 4, and kinda Gen 5. I’ve seen and can recognize some Pokémon from Gens 6 to 9, though.

I enjoy looking at the chart, but I didn’t really bother checking every generation, just your absolute favorites overall. Your picks are definitely more unconventional, while your brother’s pretty much follow the rule of cool, haha.

Yeah missed potential for sure, and it was even weirder because nintendo was known for pushing the envelope with their mainline games more than the other big names, odd they played it so safe
