Hot take, breaking bad is overrated.

I'll bite, how so? If there's overrating, the defense is master craftwork. Writing, casting, acting, cinemetography, soundtrack, quotability, pacing, suspense/payoff, lack of loose ends. Do you think it fails on any of those points?

I am not good at coming up with questions to ask, or at talking at all tbh, but what are some of yall's fav games/shows/books? I figured this would be the best way to interact here. I might not reply quickly, but that is mostly because I am rarely on here, but I will try to reply as soon as I can.

My fav game of all time is GOD HAND from ps2.
For my Fav show, it's def Violet Evergarden. The best movie in my opinion (i rarely watch movies now except for animes) is a recent movie called IRON LUNG.

hmmm I never watched Breaking Bad. Looks like a TV series to me. Crime drama. I assume this os what you feel is over rated. I never watch TV series because I watch one or two then forget and then it gets lost.

However, I do wonder why you feel tis overrated, like did you find it boring or as mentioned by @Paradigminant? Im just curious more than anything.

Good morning and happy Caturday. It's also World Penguin Day. I prefer the cats.

[EggHeadedMan]

why? Is it bothering you or someo0ne?

The way I see it your user name is fine. Unless I'm missing something lol

Ah its not bothering anyone but I want to change it. I made a thread for people to give suggestions and we are now on the voting per a poll portion to decide my new name.

I agree. It’s an excellent series—one of the best out there; I have no doubt about that. But is it really humanity’s greatest creation, and is watching it so essential that we should practically worship it? Not even close.

I've definitely felt myself in that kind of hole before when I just couldn't seem to find a job. As Atlas said, find something to care about. For me, that was volunteering. I've personally really enjoyed it, and I've kept doing it for over two years now, even when I was finally actually employed again. It just feels good to help people, especially with something that you enjoy and are knowledgeable about

I first volunteered at 10 years old, I'm still doing it (xx) years later

I'm sure there are threads on fav games/shows/books +++++

this thread seems to not focus on any one thing, its super random.
like posting memes of apes putting poop on their heads.

Welcome welcome. Technically you dont have to unlurk to lurk. You can drop 350 likes and get your points that way i think. But it is much faster when you leave replies. Hence why you are getting one right now

On an unrelated note, what is your favorite fictional/fantasy setting/universe?

It's just me or likes/reactions, are not giving coins? Or do they take like a while to update?

I was either confused or misread that when I joined too. Still should try to like as many people as you can, everyone helping everyone out!

Definitely, kinda makes sense though to avoid spamming likes to everyone but we have a cooldown and lifetime is 500 so wonder why that limitation now. I'm pretty sure we use to get them before system changed maybe?

No Idea, I wasn't here then. Still pretty new. And yeah, I'm not suggesting spamming. Just browsing and rewarding good opinions, good art, just being chill, etc

Well if I could I would give all lurkers here a like, I guess that is the reason the cooldown timer exist
