There are some discord servers out there that notify you whenever there are free games on Epic or Steam. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to servers here and I'd rather not risk it as one of my first messages in the forum but I just wanted to let you know

Yeah, I'm usually very bad at getting them unless I see something somewhere about a big game being given for free. I have 318 games in my epic library of which only 1 I actually bought

Seeing this talk about Epic has made me curious about something... Is it rare for someone to not download Epic just because they dislike the company? Free games or not

Yes it is. Has anyone tried the beast yet? I enjoyed the first Dying Light, hated the DLC because of the ending, but they fixed that launching Dying Light the Beast

I didnt like Dying Light Beast. It seemed small, and more of the same. Perhaps my mistake was playing the 3 games one after the other and felt the burnout.

I never understood the epic hate, also never actually looked too much into it, what have they actually done to deserve the hate?

Then you should be good, the following is terrible. When the following was announced I thought it would give a good closer to the already bad ending of the vanilla game. And then they have ruined it even more.

Says I have dying light, but can't see the following dlc anywhere on epic, unless it was included with it when it was free.

You should have it, unless they gave it away on another date without the DLC

I think I might have got it free when I bought DL2 as that was the only place you could get it at the time, mine doesn't say any editions or anything, just says dying light.

Edit: It shows 2 add-ons but I can't exactly see what they are.

That might be it. A great upgrade over the first one was the Dead Island 2. Man did I have fun playing it. Just wish it was a little longer and had more side quests. But dissolving your way through a horde of zombies on the beach was priceless.

Dead Island 2 is more fun than Dying light thats for sure!!

I didn't like dead island 2 at all, it wasn't open world like the first one. Everything felt like a corridor and I absolutely hated that.

Theres a small hivemind that won't get anything on Epic, either because they love Steam too much or they legit don't like the store for it's barebones launcher, but free game is free game

The 1 game I bought was DL2 because I originally bought the first one on PS4 and loved that one so much. DL2 had way too many bugs and crashes on launch for my liking and then the fact that they patched out the fun bugs and not the game breaking ones after that pissed me off so much.

I jump in maybe once or twice a year for a couple weeks and check out all the new stuff. I have my criticisms of the game but man they just keep chugging along with the free content.

I really would like to get into it, but the performance threw me away. Does this game have a main quest with an ending or is just about exploring like a space sandbox?

Yeah, forced corridors with debris and cars all over the place. But the gameplay wos awesome with the flesh system, I believe that’s how this was called. Really fun to walk around slicing zombies.

Ah, Dying LIght... really should update my cheats for them.... just so annoying have to fix them almost every patch, and they patching so often

How was the third Dying Light? With a car or something.
