THE AMISH YEAH. I wonder if those guys are any fun? Like could I convince one that if you don't pick the microwave it won't work safely and could mutate their nipples or something
I don't think they are unaware of how technology works (I hope). I think it's just their choice to live without its benefits. If you live without tech without knowing what you are sacrificing is it even a sacrifice anymore?

Yep I think most of them are ignorant of technology and since they live like that from childhood.. Not using technology is normal for them where they will feel weird when using modern equipments

plus luck isn't on my side after i used it all to get M+ from 19 coin

From my understanding (am not American so all second hand :3) Amish people still live near big cities and obvi interact with regular society and stuff a bunch so they defi are aware of technology to a basic extent <3 (am quoting you cause I agree with you, not because I'm trying to correct you 🤗 )

While thats a good point about the sacrifice, is that an objective of theirs? To suffer from their excluding technology? I thought it was more of wanting to emphasize self reliance. And if they haven't ever been exposed to technology they couldn't know what is and isn't improper use right? And as they aren't often exposed to contemporary society how would they know what is and isn't considered a social norm? I mean they'd figure out I was lying if I told them to wear their underwear outside their clothing because no one else did. But would they believe they were supposed to dust themselves with flour before dressing if I insisted that was how getting dressed was done in contemporary society?

No biggie. I'm also not an American so idk much about them

Unfortunately no. Tho I feel like the political class is creating subgroups in order to divide us (like, it's really on the nose)
Yes it's only possible for groups to direct their blame to another group if another group exists.
If a population identifies as a single group then those seeking to exert authority over them must do so against unified opposition when that authority is abused.
Much easier to have people self segregate based upon easily identifiable but effectively useless traits or preferences.
You can have one group argue about how they need access to food assistance while another insists the program is encouraging laziness or the funds are better spent on roads while regardless of whether the program is funded to effectively ensure access to food money for things like war are guaranteed.

What are the groups being created over there? And can you determine what the effect of division will be?

Yup, all the while the political class is stealing from the population with both hands. And it sucks for the average person when you see the housing market go higher and higher or your wage not really increasing year by year but groceries and shit do cost more and more. *sigh* I hate adulting
