How many days off do you think is fair? Four workdays and three days off?

I don't live to work. The moment work and responsibilities start to consume my life, I leave. It's not a life worth living. And I feel a deep disgust at the idea of romanticizing being practically a slave to work.

It's so rare to find a FFXIII fan, I played recently the whole trilogy and liked the games a lot, I don't care if it's the Black Sheep of the series, XIII-2 is a favorite for the OST alone

Do you think we start school too early, like jumping into elementary school right away? Maybe we should’ve spent more of our childhood just playing instead of worrying about studying.

But then again, if people start working later, who ends up paying taxes? The working class would have to support children for longer while also taking care of the elderly.

I'm gonna chime in here. I guess it depends on the job and the hours. I've had 4 days on 4 days off but it's 10-12 hour days. But ya. The social norm is kinda dumb. Probably originated from the olden days where men would pretty much work 6 days a week till Sunday. "The day of the Lord" and eventually labor laws were put into place.

I adore Vanille!!! Her and Fang are my favourite couple in media, you can't convince me they aren't in love with each other :3

I also love her interactions with Sazh, their scenes together are so heartwarming, and when that part gets revealed the story gets sooo good! People hate on FFXIII way too much its sooo good! (and the trilogy have the best OSTs I agree :3)

It is a problem born of the terrible structure of various systems, mainly educational and labor.

While the world is advancing at a rapid pace, we continue to use systems from before 1950. It is not right that a human being spends more time at work and school than enjoying their life. I am not saying that we should not work and study, but the way it is structured and distributed is ridiculously inefficient.

If a child perceives school as something negative, they will learn less.
If a person perceives their job as something negative, they will produce less.

It's basic, but it's not implemented. However, there are certain countries that have revamped these systems and proven beyond a doubt that they are obsolete and that the new systems are better.

There also seems to be less and less funding to public schools to the point kids aren't even wanting to learn anything these days.
Plus with all the screen time and infinite info on the Internet how can you expect a kid to sit in a classroom for hours on end. Definitely heading toward an ADHD epidemic

That part took me by surprise too, changes your view on Vanille, kinda sad what happens to Sazh in the rest of the trilogy though, I guess we can't have the black character have a little more to give the story, almost tough they forgot about him in Lightning Returns lol

I know, it is so sad that he gets completely dropped ;-; And ye I imagine it is because of that unfortunately :c

He's probs my vote for most underrated FF character, the amount of emotions he embodies throughout the whole story is really impressive from a writing and voice acting perspective <3
