I actually have a pair of kitchen scissors that is basically exclusively used to open indo-mie packets. (they're kinda bad so they don't get used for real food, but are easy to clean at least). A very common workday lunch for me is a packet of their spicy noodles with a few wonton or potstickers tossed in. I can cook it the night before and it microwaves quite nicely in the lunch room.
I also like Sapporo's Sriracha Yakisoba instant noodles. Toss in a handful of chicken or a couple wonton and its an excellent meal. Many a Costco chicken has wound up in this fate.
In terms of soupy instant noods, my absolute favorite are Prima Taste's Laksa Curry. Though "instant" is pushing things as it does take some actual cook top prep. But my god is it tasty. Sadly, they're also kinda pricey, so I don't buy it too often.
And as a bit of a grumbly aside, I absolutely and utterly HATE Buldak. They all taste like solvent and that metallic bitterness of capsaicin additive to me. And they've completely taken over the shelf space in all my local asian markets, I can't escape the stuff. I've tried over a dozen various flavors and not one could I say I even kind of liked. /rant_over
