I get that but I can't stand having embeds limited to such a small portion of my screen. I also don't keep this window on my ultrawide, that would be too much even for me most of the time.

I have it on my ultrawide, but I usually only half it on a 1/2 or 1/3 width window. It's funny, I pitched an absolute fit when facebook went from full width to the smaller width+tonsa whitespace, but once I got used to it, I ended up preferring it. My monitor is so wide that I have to physically turn my head to read a post if it's full width.

I do that a lot when I'm being productive. Having docs and sheets open on half an ultrawide works really well for me. That way I can keep my work on one monitor and use my others for watching something and having a browser open for random searches.

3440x1440 @ 120FPS is my main monitor and it's been serving me well for years. I'm not even sure if it's worth the extra power it takes to push 4k pixels the next time I upgrade and might just go for the same but with higher refresh rate.

I'm hoping for like 244 or whatever it is at that point when I'm ready to replace my main monitor but in the end it'll just come down to what's out there at the time.

I'd really like to get something like an OLED but I haven't looked into display tech in a long time so I'm not sure if there's up to snuff in terms of refresh, especially grey to grey, times. I'm an absolute sucker for screens with true blacks though and my main TV is a 1080p plasma screen with the 4k set tucked away in the bedroom.

oled still has some burnin problems, maybe in the next few years we will have all that figured out tho.
