just curious because it legit does not matter but does anyone know why this rollback happened and why stuff like game threads couldn't be backed up and restored? I thought the new test server setup was supposed to allow them to avoid this kind of thing.

Not just them a few developers as well as their updates and previews are gone as well.

Yep, but it would explain the rollback. It wouldn't surprise me that much though.
