Exactly the same, especially with Hearts of Iron IV. I have 1,368 hours of gameplay and I don't think I've ever finished a victorious campaign.

Knowing Paradox, this installment is gonna have five dlc by the end of the year (at least) and will be on sale by summer. I'll most likely wait, playing horny games from here, until then.

Get ready for the hundred hour learning curve that comes with Paradox games... I've got around 500 hours spent on EU4 and I don't think i ever got any good.

Well yeah, you only got through half the tutorial!

Still debating EU5, personally. Kind of iffy on Paradox as a dev/pub these days

I know right!? I STILL suck at organizing trade.

Exactly. I'm just enough on the spectrum that I enjoy staring at a map for dozens of hours, but not enough that I'm ready to have my heart broken again during the first rounds of player balancing.

I tried Fallout 1 once, spent 30 minutes just trying to figure out how to talk to someone. Absolute chaos. Those old games are difficult af

Stuff from the late 90s (Fallout, BG1, etc.) are the oldest games I can play without throwing my hands up and quitting after a bit. I've tried some of the Ultima games and Elder Scrolls Arena but bounced off them because of the controls and UI.

Trade's not so bad once you take some time to pause and really figure it out.

My issue is we tend to play Paradox games multiplayer, and with mods.

And they have this annoying habit of breaking both multiplayer and mods, all the damn time.

On your side note.. yeah.. have had a bunch of trouble with gifs loading. Even regular ones I've used all the time. I've had to change some of them to webp's just to get to use them. Also.. merge me daddy Slum.. I just broke the rules. At least you'll merge me and not break my post.. unlike someone we know. *coughs* @RED - 99 *coughs*
