Mime mentioned that in another thread. What's odd is that I haven't changed my theme since logging on nearly two years ago to something godawful after the default had changed. I restored to "Oasis 2", which is what I had to do last time...

It did. I've gotten use to this place doing strange and dumb shit - just another occurrence of that. Of course now it's a bit more boring with all the banners looking the same.

Beat Super Metroid, can easily see why it's so acclaimed. It's unironically timeless, I've played almost every Metroidvania Castlevania game and Super Metroid felt just as fresh as any recent Castlevania. 10/10 will be super to play again for better time.

Moved on in the series to Fusion, got to say not as good, too much railroading, not as rough as the OG Metroid which I also played recently (doing them all chronologically, having never touched a single one until now).
Fusion wouldn't be so bad if it didn't tell rather than show so often, too many info dumps from the computer terminals.

Yeah, "someone" is working on the themes, and sometimes things gets fucked, and switched themes just resets stuff.
Glad it seems to have fixed it for you though.
