I appreciate the sentiment, but I have to disagree on the drinking buddy front. I tried that once, and the pig just hogged all the pretzels and kept oinking the entire chorus to my favorite songs. The whole evening was a logistical nightmare.

@Slumdum, I've been enjoying Dying Light in the 14 hours I've played. I turned into a loot goblin. The nighttime is scary again. The story has been ok so far. I would recommend it for those who play either the first or the second, not run into game-breaking bugs so far

A couple of things I forgot to mention are that weapons have limited repairs, but only for melee weapons, and there are 4x4s you can drive. Still, you need fuel to drive them, and they can blow up if damaged enough, but can be repaired with a car repair kit, and one thing i really like is you can pick up humans ' weapons after defeating them.

I'm sorry Slum, I couldn't resist As a peace offering, I recommend Dead Island 1 and 2 as well. It's not as serious or scary as Dying Light but its very fun.

WTF!!! Okay, I understand that I'm a newbie here, and I have absolutely no idea what is going on. Remember that there were 2000+ comments in the last week, so please forgive my ignorance in these matters.

Eisenberg was banned? Wasn't he the site owner? I did read a section about the situation, but the comments were more about opinions than the facts of what's happening. I have no idea what P4 and P5 entail, but I am only here to read hilarious comments and watch animated spider-pigs fucking! LOL!

I am not going to play ignorant to the underlying theme of this site. Although if one desires a fantasy in something I do not, it still makes me feel more liberated in releasing my own dark desires. I hope that this doesn't make me sound negative, just stupid.

Then there's also the weapons to find and upgrade. Story wasn't very good, but I didn't care. Was playing as a hot katana wielding asian slicing zombie heads off. That was good enough for me. The second game is a huge improvement on the first imo. I noticed there's this Dead Island vs Dying Light thing going on among players. I like them both. There's nothing wrong with liking both Star Wars and Star Trek. No Star Trek fan can tell me they wouldn't fuck a Twi'lek. Anyway, yeah, HIGHLY recommend Dying Light 1 also.
