One hell of a read going through all the announcement/update threads. Good luck to those keeping this place running. Have barely posted at all recently and just been spectating the chaos, The activity coin changes make a lot of sense imo, the amount of posts I saw with 0 input to the conversation was pretty crazy before.

im glad prices are down, but honestly idk how much changes can fix the system people are always going to find the most low effort way to farm coins. Reddit for example has been fighting this exact problem for years look at how active stuff like the animal pic subs are as upvote farms lol

There's always going to be people who try to abuse it, I think that making changes to make it easier to spot those bad actors is the best way to go. It won't ever be "solved", but reducing it definitely helps the feel of the site/the flow of conversations in threads.

I'm usually extremely busy, but if I didn't like the users mindset here, I would have only low-effort farmed. LC rocks.
