Of course we have a rough idea how much it gets in donations if we were to track it, we see a banner almost weekly at the top of the site asking for more donations with a progress bar of the goal and how much has been sent in towards that goal

sometimes the banner is there, sometimes it's not. We have the same staff for years, we gave up trying to track the donations, most of the time they barely cover the monthly expenses of LC and P5 site

Where did I say that? I never once mentioned the trading system, or people bypassing the Ranking system.

I understand how confusing my comment can sound. Quoting you "...anything that is ever added to the store they will always instantly afford and that bothers them to no end..."
That means not only they can bypass the entire system with bank interest alone, but they can make everyone else bypass too with the trading system. Keep in mind that I'm not saying to just remove both, we're just trying to listen to everyone as long as they are polite

Of course I care about the site, otherwise I would have deleted my account awhile ago when every other day was a mandatory forum to read or a mandatory dm to check that was annoying the living shit out of everyone for what felt like weeks

trust me, no one likes forced threads. But my point is, we are open to hear people, but people just don't want to help. When I say "the staff doesn't make changes based on donations because they don't even know how much the site gets", I am not lying, We need feedback, and we do not plan things based on donations alone, and this is really not related to donations, you can't buy activity coins anymore (since many months ago).

Of course you have an idea how that could potentially increase donations, otherwise the discussion of potentially nuking everyone's AC balance wouldn't have taken place

There was also the idea from management for completely new coin that all new items would require for unlocks, which would require people to either have the patience to start the grind all over again, or to bite the bullet and purchase some premium currency via donations to instantly unlock whatever potential items are/were added

this thread alone will always make the activity coins easy, and all ranks with activity coins are permanent. There were even talks about preventing comments on this thread from earning coins, which almost the entire staff is against. So as someone who was present in every single version of this thread, even reading the entire first and half of the second version (this is the third) I can easily say that getting activity coins will always be easy as long as this thread exists. Donating for ranks will always be optional for people who really don't like to participate and this is totally fine, but far from mandatory

Wont agree with all of the changes thus far, but I do appreciate all the admins trying to make things better. Trust me, no one likes change, but if no change means destruction, then I guess we'll have to change. I'll stick around since for it since I basically just joined (after lurking for 1 year).

If people could at least give solid suggestions instead of just "don't change what is good for me, even if costs the website"

why so far not even a single comment said "give more coins on custom reactions, so it's basically a vetted reaction and not spam" ?
because they don't want to use the site, they just want no barriers at all

While I may not like that amount of coins it takes to get to the point where I can 'see the good.stuff'i do like that there is a system.in place to try and weed out the bits, I think too many other sites people just want to get to the good stuff and the mods/admin of those sites dont care so they just let chaos reign. While the system.here may not be perfect, and I fear I am still a long way off from being g able to enjoy everything this wonderful site has to offer, I want to thank and commend the admin/mods for at least doing something to try amd improve the quality of the user, it may not always work, but hey, Rome wasnt built in a day, and neither are great websites.

at this point I won't even try to understand anymore, you had good points, but this one it's hard to understand. People will spam more if they need more, of course they used to spam less when we had more people here, but this is not the active users' fault, more like the result of a lot of extra ranks being added and all the purges.
