I have two quick technical question regarding the member+ or whatever it's called. I hope it's ok to ask them here.
Does one need to reach 750 coins to then get a passive badge/trophy, do you actively need to spend them on an upgrade?
And is the amount you need the "active" coin count or do already spend coins count too, like for creating a new thread?

You need to buy the rank from the shop with coins so yes you spend them. Spent coins are spent, only those currently available can be used.

You should check your messages. You should've gotten a message regarding the coins/points. But as far as I know, you can get access to restricted areas with the member+ badge. I'm not sure of the benefits from other purchases, but you can check out the shop or the message for details.

Ah sorry, though you meant the coins. If you are reffering to the points on your profile, I'm not entirely sure, but I think its the count of coins through trophies. But its only speculation on my part. Its best you ask a mod.
