But why? So many gems in RPGM.

I guess it is up to personal taste. I find the RPGM engine to be perfect if you are planning to tell a long story with multiple locations and combat.

I HATE having to navigate. And it normally uses a map with graphics bad by 1980s standards. Combat absolutely does NOT belong in adult games. RPGM is terrible even for non adult games. Unfortunately no filtering that works here yet, but on the other site I filter for Renpy only. RPGM sucks the festering cum out of a dead skunk's rotting dick and the other ones crash too much.

There are various types of adult games. Some fully focused on the porn aspect and essentially are only made to be masturbation material (nukige) and in this case you have a point about combat. But there are also games that have porn as one aspect of the game and not the totality of it (eroge). They have an actual story, combat, world building etc. A lot of RenPy games are just glorified CG galleries and not games IMO, because they solely focus on the porn aspect. I can achieve the same, and most likely better, effect by reading a doujinshi online.

It still comes back to personal taste though. I prefer games with porn and your prefer porn in VN form. And that is fine.
