I like to game-ify it so it's a little more fun! If I do 5 hours of decent cardio (good heart rate, sweating) by the end of the week I get a cheat meal. Things like that. Also, runner's high is a real thing and a nice surprise reward to go home with a head buzz.

I started working out 3 times a week about 3 years ago, and sticking to it regularly has honestly done wonders for my life — physically, mentally, and even for my sleep. It’s one of those things that feels hard to start, but once it becomes part of your routine, it just clicks.


Just remember, every gym has that one guy who skips leg day — don’t be that guy. Your future self (and your knees) will thank you.
