Huh. This January it got the coldest it had in a VERY long time - down to -13 F overnight one day.

Kinda odd being up when the rest of the world is asleep and vice versa isn't it, but then someone's gotta do it right? Plus the extra dollar an hour helps.

Things would literally fall apart if we didn't. The real issue is getting coworkers that last, most people can't keep it up for more than a year.

I get that. It's rough when you don't sync with the rest of the world and your body isn't always willing to go with the time. Although with my current job I don't even know if I'm going to stay for long. They're an absolute mess who bit off more than they can chew and can't hold onto employees partly as a consequence. I haven't been paid my first paycheck yet. It's been almost two weeks since I should have been paid. If they don't get it to me tomorrow, when they said they would, I'm not going back and I will take them to court if necessary.
