Do you know the history of this celebration?

Well there can be a number of reasons for the number of pages to drop, I for example removed about 300 of my posts last year and saw my likes count drop from around 22k to 12k, so maybe there are some members removing their own posts. You also have posts that the staff remove due to the rules, if you feel the need to get answers open a support ticket and wait for a response.
