It was almost impossible to stay caught up lol But even if we dont reach that level again, it's still nice to see all the activity here. Our lewd community is the best lewd community.

Yep. It was wild at times. And I would take time to craft gifs as responses. It was wild. I spent so many hours every day reading and crafting replies. I'd read a few times a day just to keep up!

Honestly, they weren't even irritated. We were all angry after learning that the police had been called on us for no reason but after seeing the officer that responded we all felt relieved and they took the opportunity to be little devils.

First thing they did after the officer left was sit on my lap, give me a kiss together and stare at the woman for a few minutes. I could barely keep myself from laughing.

They knew exactly how they could get to this woman and after messing with their night, they made sure to do it and to be honest - I was completely fine with it. You don't mess with my family.

Old hag ended up leaving fairly quickly afterwards.

"Men-of-letter" is a group from the tv show Supernatural. Dean WincHester (with a H and less incest) is where my name comes from and I know it is one of Slum's favourite shows. Due to the connection and the fact Slum was talking to you about your name now being letters, I made a failed attempt at a joke.

I've seen enough clips and memes to know enough to usually follow along when it's brought up but not this time.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I shared the joke with my wife and she giggled (she really likes the show).

I much prefer our Dean (the added incest is a bonus).

Those three things don't necessarily go together. I've found the most liberal folks tend to be the least happy because it always pisses them off if someone else has more or if they think someone isn't paying enough taxes to make everything they need or want "free". "Free" isn't "free". It's all paid for by someone and when the "government" pays for something, it's using money taken from the individuals or businesses that earned it. They also hate it when you disagree with them about something and won't change your mind - they shout you down in public, dox you if you're trying to criticize from a place of privacy, and seek to destroy your life and business if you don't do as they demand. Granted this is the extreme end, but your words suggest that anyplace "liberal" should be open and happy, when clearly that is false.

Right now, some of the more extreme liberals around the world are burning Teslas and Tesla dealerships because they don't like what Elon Musk is doing; when conservatives didn't like what Bud Light did, they just stopped buying the beer - they didn't burn Anhueser-Busch trucks or breweries. Other extreme liberals are praising murderers and assassins because they didn't like the victim for being a CEO or a white teenager.

I'm guessing you'll disagree with that assessment, but at least attempt to look at it with an unbiased eye.

it's a great show, assuming it's your type of show
but it is kind of hard to recommend a 15 season show to someone
it's not a small time investment lol

Yeah, unfortunately that's the thing. From what I have seen, it doesn't look like my kind of show and I don't like getting invested in things that long if I "know" I'm going to dislike it, which is probably why she has never brought it up on Saturdays. (She usually skips her turn and when we've talked about it she's mentioned it's because she wants everyone to have a fun time, so she lets everyone else choose.)

Talking about it here I think I might suggest the show on my next turn. Based on what I know I think the kids might enjoy it and even if I end up disliking it, I'm still doing something with her.

We're looking for things to watch, currently.

Agreed. But, if you look at the media, please assess for me which extreme seems to get the greatest support from them and gets the biggest soap box.

And, as a recent meme-theme points out: if the establishment is saying the same things you are, are you really anti-establishment? (Mostly aimed at performing artists, general artists, and other folks once considered to be "outside" of it all.)

I know you said you knew this wasn't grammatically correct but I still got a chuckle out of it. Spab? Did you mean Spaß? The last letter is an Eszett, not a capital "B." It's pronounced like a double "S." You can even swap it and spell it "Spass." I've met several people who've thought it was a "B." So you aren't alone on that. Been a long while since I've heard the phrase backpfeifengesicht. I like that word.

The medias's job is to report the news -- Not the Faux news. I get most of mine from Reuters, the BBC and NPR. I will say nothing more on this as it is gonna rapidly devolve into a political argument. And I get enough of that in real; life.
