So tired so early today… hope you all had a nice one - it’s nearly Friday!

The more I think about it, the more I want some - or at least something along those lines, on the substantial side, a little sweet and savory...

Though, I don't really keep them around - I get them when I make a "farm" dish my dad used to make when he had cooking duty when I was young, but now I prefer to just cook my own. No time for that tonight, though maybe there are some things in the fridge and pantry that might hit that spot...

I've never really made my own to be honest but I really should learn a good recipe. Sweet and savory foods are the best

If I'm remembering my 8th or 9th grade science lab right (over 40 years ago ) we looked at thin slices of onion through a microscope to see individual plant cells. It was a pretty easy medium to get, one could be used for the whole class, the cells were big enough to easily observe with junior high lab equipment, and the teacher could slice or chop what was left to add to their lunch.

You have a great mind and a very good memory. I wish I could remember like you, I think I am threatened by the presence of a disease like alzeimher. My great-great-great-great grandfather died because of it. If there is a hereditary condition, this could happen again. I hope genetics will leave me alone. I am already struggling with some genetic nonsense diseases because of my father and his relatives.

Oh, yes, thank you, beautiful. I'm good too. I'm nearing the end of the shift because I work nights and soon I'll hand over the shift to the next idiots and I'll go home and get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow is a holiday and I think I'll catch up on some soccer games.

So what are your plans for the new day?

Typically one uses onion and a microscope to study cell structure, onions are readily available and have huge cells. - THAT I remember from 50 years ago -- BUT - I do not know what I watched on TV this afternoon.

Wow, I didn't know you have recent alzeimher. If you remember the old and don't remember the new, you can definitely be a victim of this disease. My great-great-great-grandfather could remember his memories from WW2, but he couldn't remember what time he last went to the toilet recently. I think this could be a way of diagnosis.

You might check with @Underlord - I think he has one you can see pretty well (or did at one time - I'd have to check) to see if you can increase the size. It's a pretty cool icon and would be nice if it were larger.

If you can't get it to appear larger in your name, you might add it to your signature line.

I do not have any and at my age I guess it is not going to happen -- I did learn long ago that if you have a girlfriend and can not think of what to give them for their birthday, Christmas or your anniversary that a tattoo makes a great present.

Hm.. I think the way I jerry rigged the sig looks a little clunky but I'll play around with it some more another time.

I like how the glow contrasts against the black so I want it left oriented but not it's own line, otherwise everything gets pushed down and I end up with a scroll bar.

Ended up using invisible characters to push the gif back to center. See if it grows on me a bit..

EDIT: It didn't, so I got rid of it.

I've done some disk management today - not like I don't HAVE sufficient space, I just had a lot of crap (and maybe a wee bit of porn....) to filter through, move to an external, or simply delete. Freed up about 40G extra today (was down to about 10G free) so I downloaded two other VNs to play while I wait for the Artemis mod update . I'll be finishing the Shale Hill epilogues tonight, and will finish out My Dorm Season 2 over the next few (only about 50-60% through that one, so there's quite a bit of content to catch up on).

Glad you got your storage sorted out. I'll have to do something like that eventually, hopefully not anytime too soon.

I prefer the less raw bacon, personally...but I'm not too fussy on how much it's cooked. My son likes it practically burnt and I dated this lady who liked it barely having touched the pan.

I agree tattoos make great gifts. They last forever. Usually people don't get them as soon as they want them due to lack of funds. I put money towards my daughter getting tattoos for her last two birthdays.
