2 Years of Service
That dates back to my Rugby days -- At that time I had long hair, a ZZtop beard and had a reputation as --- ummm -- somewhat of an "impact" player. Once in a representative game as there was a break in the action the guy on the loud speaker said - "they better watch out for that Uncle Buck looking guy" This was not a reference to John Candy and his film role as it was about 5 years before that film came out but rather a dig that with my torn jersey and somewhat disheveled appearance I looked like I had just walked out of the hills. And the nick name stuck. Eventually when it became obvious it wasn't going away - I embraced it.I hesitated calling you Uncle Buck in a previous post because of this. If you don't want to share just skip my post like it didn't happen.
