I just level up and got the recruits, and decided to spent energy from level up and then start recruiting again, but nope, maintenance...And now I waste 6 hours with tired unrotated workers on base, 150/104 energy and empty recruitment T-T

Yeah Arknights usually has maintenance around this time because it's when the daily stuff resets. Don't worry too much about capping energy, Missing out on energy happens to everyone. I lost out on 400+ stamina in my mail for another game I play because I was too tired to remember it was expiring. Don't know if you're caught up with the story, but I'm personally looking forward to the event story that should be out when maintenance is over. Arknights writing isn't for everyone (it has a reputation of being wordy), but I personally really like the worldbuilding in it

I remember doing my base late in my development.
It is nice having it made though.

Yeah, there is some farming for mats in that too, but one of the nice things, is once you completed a stage and gotten all the rewards from it, you can just auto the stage.

Well, today you'll have your first event (I think?), and it will have a free 5* operator (once you complete some missions) plus some tickets on the event shop

But, new event means more Originite Prime, if you complete the stages!

Also, a reminder:
I KNOW it's tempting to exchange Originite Prime for that last roll that MAYBE will give you the 6* you want... Don't. Use it for skins (or if you are REALLY close to the guaranteed on a limited banner).

Oh right, the base optimization, where EVERYONE tells you that you should go 3-3-3, but you already have a 2-4-3 and can't change anymore... (But honestly, I'm happy with my 2-4-3, having 3 factories for gold and 1 for exp)

I usually don't remember my dreams after some time... But I guess recently I had a nice dream, involving a certain redhead little cat that may or may not be on my signature... (I really wanted to go back to sleep once I woke up)

Jewel farming? I played Genshin only on release for a few months, so, don't remember much. But I remember daily that I hated there. Retarded missions that made you go out of your way.
In Arknights there is no such things. By doing your things that you would've done anyway all daily and weekly will be done. No going out of your way for daily or weekly, that's for sure.
