I once dreamt that my Little Rose and I went to an ice cream shop near where I grew up when I was a boy (the shop has been closed and utterly abandoned for over a decade). She was around 7 or so in the dream and we just held hands as we walked to the shop, sat down at the bar and ordered ice cream. I got chocolate mint (my favorite) but she insisted on strawberry (my wife's favorite - though my wife is/was not her biological mother).

None of the words of the conversation made any sense, even in the dream, but we were just enjoying this little moment together and after we finished our ice cream she leaned over, gave me a kiss and said "Thank you Daddy.. but you need to wake up now."

When I woke up it was still early in the morning, my wife was still asleep in my arms and for a few minutes I swear it felt like there was someone else beside me.

Aragorn got to keep his horse though. The horse who played Brego in The Two Towers and The Return of the King was a Dutch Warmblood stallion named Uraeus. Uraeus was owned and trained by top international trainer Lockie Richards, and competed successfully in FEI-level dressage before retiring to sire sport horses.

Uraeus’ cushy stud career was interrupted by the filming of The Lord of the Rings in his home country of New Zealand. Although actor Viggo Mortensen had ridden since childhood, he took riding lessons to learn to properly handle the highly-trained stallion. Viggo Mortense became attached to Uraeus, and after the movies were finished, he bought him.

ummmmm not really clear on this -- but it involved aliens and my first girlfriend (when I was 13) -- I swear it was a real close encounter. I am still in touch with her now -- oughta ask her if she remembers it

Don't know, I don't tend to keep up to date with new games, last I knew was the last monster hunter (which looks great but seems to require a lot of time), silksong (which doesn't even have a release date yet), and deltarune (do I have to say it?).

They've been trying to launch silksong for ages lol

Well, probably gonna sound pretty cringe, but...
I had my own little family with a kid. did all the usual dad stuff, well at least what I think is the usual.
Remember waking up from that, and feeling incredibly lonely.
Don't remember much else from that, just remember those parts.
