However, in the future, it's a good idea to either hit the "Reply" button to directly reply to a single post(er) or "Quote" on multiple posts to then reply to multiple post(ers) like I just did now.

Teenagers are tough to deal with too, in different ways.

Thankfully mine have never given us too much grief.

I was blessed to have wonderful parents amidst a shitty environment. My wife.. not so much. Together we've made sure to be there for our kids, always.

I firmly believe most really awful experiences parents have with their kids are their own fault, barring few exceptions.

The irony being most adults are locked into their own heads with what they think and believe while kids are constantly discovering themselves almost every day.

It's a teens nature to rebel, but in my personal experience my kids have only rebelled in areas I deserved to think a bit more about. I've always been able to sit down and talk with them, and been open to them to do the same no matter what. They know they'll never not be accepted, they know they're never not safe among family and they know they can shout at me and their mother until we're all in tears - we'll still be there whenever they're ready.

Seems to have made all the difference for us.

I'll probably be back later once the kids are all doing their own things and the wife and I are winding down. I plan to do some more writing tonight and my wife wants to find another AVN to play. Our last was Projekt: Passion but we're both fans of the little ones.
