[Lazarus͏]

Hi everyone I'm new here! been a lurker all my life and never been on a site that forces me to socialize but I think it is an interesting tactic to keep an active forum tbh^^

Welcome to our (not so little anymore) hideout, @TheMoss !

Don't be afraid to socialize, but it's called the Anti-Social Lurker Hideout for a reason.

Just pop in every once and a while, respond to a few folks here and there (gifs are a great way to add a little extra to your post) and you'll have enough for Members+ and even P1 in no time at all.

Regardless of how much or how little you socialize, we're glad to have you here.

That's a very weird thing to base a temperature scale one. In F 0 is as cold as it normally gets in a temperate area, 100 about as hot. Who the fuck takes the temperature of water to see if it's freezing or boiling? You LOOK. Not to mention the boiling point changes with elevation. Who the fuck cares about water temperature? People want to know how hot/cold it is outside, etc.

Not a tea drinker I guess.

[TheMoss]

Man, I haven't finished parallel paradise but where I am things keep getting harder.

Maybe they wanted to stick to the 60 division rule? for certain they just wanted to mess with people.

Welcome theMoss, you should check the first post of this thread, the The Coin-Hustlers University Could also be useful to you.

Well done, welcome to the front-read. I have also just finished my little backreading.

Thank you! I'll def take a look!^^
I read Parallel Paradise too a couple of years back but the story is all over the place and at some point I just couldn't keep up, if you are interested on another erotic manga I started recently "Doing secret things with the holy maidens"/"Seinaru Otome to Himegoto wo" man that one is real good

Who the fuck steps outside, gets really cold , and says "It must be 0 degrees"? Celsius makes far more sense as 0 and 100 are absolutely observable without a thermometer. For that matter, the metric system is far superior to imperial measurements as well.

I say this from the US, where neither of them are the standard. That doesn't prevent them from being superior.

Remember guys, Slum can't moderate while he is sleeping.

He does have a moderator alarm though -- so be careful, when awakened in such a manner he tends to be annoyed - thumps first and asks questions later

Actually, it sucks. I have no money left in my pocket and I have to wait 10 more days to get my salary. I think I will be crawling for 10 days.

yeah, that is hard. I am similar, but I need wait 14 days. Just got my money and the bills are just crazy and so, its fine until next pay, but guess this is how it is these days.

It has been ages since you've said hello here!
Hi Inyo!
Things are going fine with me, hope things are fine with you.

Yes it has been ages. I still visit LC, just am wait until owner finally gets their pc fixed and sort out this P5 nonsense, but other than this, I been cleaning out a camping trier caravan. It was full of rotting trash. 3 bin full of the trash. Highlight of my week haha. Apart from this, just normal day stuff, and this year is going too fast already

Hello there, Inyo. Quiet time to be in here at the moment.

Past few days have been fun in here, with plenty of eye candy since SFW AI was allowed.

Yeah, the eye candy posts are fun, and some of the humor can be a decent laugh. I don't often visit the chat areas here, but also the art areas can be fun. At least some of the AI is allowed back here. I think it is the 18+ stuff? Not sure if younger is allowed eve it is SFW, but even the 18+ can be good fun, even to post in P1 for those who don't yet visit lurker or don't have P4 yet

Thoughts on RPGmaker games? I honestly think RPGmaker has too many menus and the like getting in the way of gameplay.

If done well, I enjoy RPGmaker games. I like the work that MegaloDEV is doing with Accursed: Emma's Path. But a badly designed one can take the fun outta it.

Still working on catching up -- chugging coffee - 6 pages to go

Ok:

Movie -- Lord of the Rings
Book -- City by by Clifford D. Simak
Song -- Lake Shore Drive - by
Game -- meh

Oh, City. I enjoyed the book very much. I remember the talking dogs and that, with atomic energy, everybody decided to live far away from the rest of humanity. And they had flying cars.

Would most likely be too difficult...

When there's a will...

I say this from the US, where neither of them are the standard. That doesn't prevent them from being superior.

I and a Yank and I spent my entire career in the sciences, generally Chemists used Celsius while Engineers used Fahrenheit and YES - upon rare occasions shit happened when someone got confused. In my career on
three occasions I saw experiments come to disastrous conclusions after someone did something as simple as heating to 300 C instead of F.

As an example, in September of 1999, after almost 10 months of travel to Mars, the Mars Climate Orbiter burned and broke into pieces. On a day when NASA engineers were expecting to celebrate, the ground reality turned out to be completely different, all because someone failed to use the right units, i.e., the metric units!. The navigation team at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) used the metric system of millimeters and meters in its calculations, while Lockheed Martin Astronautics in Denver, Colorado, which designed and built the spacecraft, provided crucial acceleration data in the English system of inches, feet, and pounds. JPL engineers did not take into consideration that the units had been converted, i.e., the acceleration readings measured in English units of pound-seconds^2 for a metric measure of force called newton-seconds^2. In a sense, the spacecraft was lost in translation.

Even still, I think RPGmaker has too many menus for things like selecting items, and dont even get me started on their turn based combat...

Night xatfx, rest well.

You can do good games with rpgmaker but is not for all genres and a lot of people use it very lazily (also hate the json code formatting while reverse-engineering some of them)

[Tosser]

Weird.

Come on the site thinking about doing something, checking through messages, see new blood and then have the thought "might need to do some bloodletting".

Being antagonistic and condescending really isn't the way to make friends and influence people in your first hours on the site. You need to have been here a little longer and be friends BEFORE you act like an antagonistic and/or condescending prick!
