what was your first pet? -had a family cat named sneakers. She was a calico but her white legs had some black and tan spots right on her feet that made her look like she had shoes.
I was a bit of an animal lover as a kid - Also had a cichlid tank, a gerbil, a hamster, a couple of Tokay geckos, an iguana, and a savanah monitor lizard (till it got too big and mom wanted it gone).

Of the weirdest we have had (fishies, hermit crabs, and lizards) i cant pick they are tied.
OF the weirder ones i have been blessed with friends having i want a ferret or snek so badly
Also i feel stupid i messed up like 3 times trying to quote/edit to add a quote. even had to delete the prior one because it didnt have what i typed

named the monitor lizard Joanna - after the monitor lizard sidekick from rescuers down under. she was sweet and large enough to have out of the cage and be safe on her own and often climbed into my bed at night (because i was warm)lol, "it smells like sloth in here......"

How about a kind of hardwired empathy? The sense would make you feel what the person(s) that are ultimately affected by what you are about to do or think about to do would feel. (of course it'd need to be 'mandatory' for everyone to work)
You want to insult someone.. go ahead, but you'll feel insulted.
Want to rob someone at gunpoint? You'll feel their fear.
Be a greedy politician who helps rich people getting richer by ripping off the poor? Feel the despair and anger of the people who you'll make struggle financially (you'll also feel the 'joy' of the rich ppl but they are by far outnumbered by the ones negatively affected so you'll feel much more of the negative)
Be a good politician who wants to make sure everyone can have at least a basic secure outcome? Upsetting the rich elite by taking a chunk of their stuff and feel that, but feel the overwhelming relieve of all the people who won't have to life with fear of knowing how to pay food/rent at the end of the month.
Wage war against a neighboring nation just fo the power and glory of olden days? .. i don't need to paint the picture here i think.
