I've literally been trying to sleep since nearly 12 hours ago, no such luck. I am getting close, started seeing shit and if I sit up I do that annoying rocking back and forth thing.

I also have the super fast reaction speed, my Mom was the same way.

Try laying in different direction on your bed. I had insomnia, one night turned my legs to the headrest - and voila, i'm falling asleep with ease. Been sleeping that way ever since.
No idea how i would ever explain that if i'll get a girl to visit, but that's an issue for the lucky bastard in the future.

It's not really an Insomnia thing. It's more of a Jet Lag thing, until a few weeks ago, I was basically taking a flight every 2-3 days, went to Singapore, Japan, back to California, then eastward to Italy and Greece. I'm not acclimated to the way my hours are, and then once I got back DLS shifted. Further messing with me. I'll probably be sorted within a week, since I'm grounded now.

I also didn't sleep much during that time, either because I was working on a project, that didn't come to fruition.

Do you need to code for the game you want to make? a lot of people are happy just using renpy (I know you use code with renpy but is minimal if you just want an avn) depending on the kind of game you want to make there are different languages or engines you could look in order to make your task easier.
